Great tour - Me and my 2 mates joined the tour and had a great time understanding the process of making wines. The guy was passionate and well educated on this. Thumbs up.

Informative and fun - We booked through Algarve Flashback Holidays who were excellent! The owner of the wine tasting trip was very passionate about his wine making and his enthusiasm was infectious. We were very impressed by the sustainability of the whole process and the knowledge of all the presenters. The wine was delicious too!!
On return my husband realised he’d left his phone on the table and the owner of Flashback holidays drove back to get it for him then took us into the old town free of charge!
Highly recommend this company and the wine tasting trip.

Do not miss this - highly recommended - What can we say, such a fabulous couple of hours listening to an expert talk about planning the vineyard and the process of achieving excellence alongside his left handed inter generational family. Wonderful wines and good amount of cheese and nibbles. Ended up a little bit tiddly alongside a lovely group from New York and Kettering (Mexico). Would recommend this in a heartbeat. Thank you one and all

Pride of Albufeira. - A friendly driver of the taxi van. Too bad we had to wait 20 min. at the pick-up point. He later made up for that by treating us to a delicious pasteis de nata. A guide with a lot of knowledge about the winery and sufficient improvisation skills. We expected a bit more from the tapas. The room of the tasting room could also be decorated a bit more attractively.

Skimpy charcuterie board and pour - I'll start with the driver who was punctual, professional and informative. Next we arrived to the vinyard where we waited for other groups to join. Apparently there is no age restriction, so quite a few couples showed up with crying, fussing babies and 2 to 5-year old kids who were screaming and running around while we were trying to hear our vine expert tell us about the wine.
The history of the vineyard was very interesting, everything from growing the grape vines, to the wine making process to bottling.
The disappointing part was the actual tasting. They have olives, nuts and carob on the land but none of that was served. The charcuterie board looked very sad and bare, the tour description says generous tasting pours but nothing about those pours was generous. I would love to include the photos so that you can see for yourselves, but there is no such option :(

A bit less than described - We were disappointed in the tour. The winery tour was ok but the pickup was late, the tapas were basically a bit of cheese and crackers, and the rest of the tour was a 2 minute stop at a spot with no explanation of what it was.

A little deflated - The owner was very nice, friendly and clearly knowledgeable, however we left feeling deflated and that it was not a good enough experience for the money. Although the weather wasn’t great, it would have been nice to at least see some vines as we didn’t even get close. Also, there wasn’t really any education about wine tasting, or the 4 wines on offer. The tapas was minimal. We arrived enthused and looking forward to learning loads about how to taste wine & the uniqueness of the region, but we left feeling a bit ripped off. The best part was the driver who took us, Cody, who took the time to tell us extra info and make us feel special, not a conveyer belt of tourists.

Great driver, tasting not that much. - Our driver José was absolutely amazing. However the experience at the wineyard did not quite match. When we arrived we had no clue where to sit so we took the first available seats, soon the tour guide came angrily say that we are supposed to sit somewhere else. This would’ve been easily avoided if they had someone to welcome the guests and point towards the right spot.
Also the ”generous” glasses of wine promised were not that generous to be honest. The tasting part was rushed through and we barely got any insight on the wines we tastes, felt like the guide was on a rush. Also they aren’t accommodating vegans.
