Best tour out there - Our guide benny was friendly polite and very knowledgeable he made the trip extra fun and it was lovely to meet him , the views were stunning and lots of photos were taken ! Would definitely do another tour with you

A busy and interesting day. Full of history and stunning locations. - 5/5 our tour guide Benny did a great job. Very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a full day of interesting locations. I was a solo traveller but didn’t feel excluded.

Excellent tour, would... - Excellent tour, would recommend. The guide, Benny, made 8 hours feel like He was very knowledgable and enthusiastic, keeps everyone entertained engaged between stops. Weather was great, which helped, and all the locations visited were stunning.

Great Tour - Albufeira - An amazing tour lead by Mário. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any queries we had about Albufeira and the rest of Portugal! The locations we visited were stunning and full of history. Mário also pointed out key sites between the main locations and was able to give us detailed background on these whilst we were journeying to the next location! Despite there being quite a few stops we never felt rushed at any of the locations we visited and were able to take our time seeing the sights. This tour made our two day trip to Portugal worthwhile & we would definitely recommend to all who are interested!

Leave the driving to the guide! - Great way to see parts of Western algarve without driving or parking. Weather was not the greatest and our guide adjusted to make a perfect day. Bernie, our guide, provided historical context and also introduced us to Fado music on the return.

Not at all the great tour I was expecting - Lots of driving. Driver constantly had his head turned around to face passengers behind him. Also frequently had both hands off the steering wheel. Very knowledgeable guide. Didn't see the area on the tour web page. What was listed as free admission actually had a charge.

Disappointed Customer - Eastern Algarve The good: Our guide for the day, Benny, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable about the area's history. He shared stories and information during the drive and accompanied our small group (there were six of us on the tour) at different stops to highlight interesting points. The bad: Benny had to yell throughout the ride so the people in the back of the van could hear him. This often involved taking his hands off the wheel and turning around to face us. While this might be normal for him, it didn’t feel very safe. The ugly: There was a nauseating smell of stale cigarettes, likely from Benny's clothes, which looked dirty. He smoked at every opportunity during the trip. On our way back, we were stopped for what should have been a routine police check. Instead, it turned into a half-hour delay digging through the mess in the van looking for insurance paperwork, which was never found. This resulted in a ticket. Overall, the experience was not worth the money. The western algarve The highlight of this day trip was eating a fresh orange from a local farm, which essentially sums up the experience. The driver, who was definitely not a tour guide, was over 20 minutes late picking us up. He introduced himself quickly, but I cannot recall his name now. Once we were all on board, we set off. Although the van was full, the group was small—only eight people in total, and our group of four sat at the back. Initially, the driver shared some information about the day’s itinerary; however, due to a combination of factors, we couldn't hear him at all. We informed him that we were having trouble hearing, and he responded, "This is the issue when we have a full van." After several requests for him to speak up or repeat what he had said, he ultimately just stopped talking. When we arrived at our first stop, he offered little information about the area, what we could see, or what we could do. He simply told us that he would pick us up in an hour from where he dropped us off. This set the tone for the rest of the day: minimal information, no recommendations, and an overall sense of disengagement. To make matters worse, both side windows didn’t close properly, creating a constant draft in the back. After the second stop, when it started to rain, we asked the driver to fix the windows, but he did nothing. We had to stuff something into the cracks to block the wind and rain coming in. We requested that he turn on the heat, as he never checked if we were comfortable with the temperature in the van. Unfortunately, it never warmed up enough to take the chill off, and it was a long drive feeling chilled to the bone. The windows were completely fogged up, making it difficult to see anything outside. We expressed our disappointment about not being able to see and mentioned that he wasn’t stopping long enough for us to jump out and take pictures. The atmosphere in the van was tense, to say the least. Overall, extremely disappointing trip. Could've taken a public bus and had a better experience. As a company (Viator) promoting tour operators, I believe more reviews of the companies you promote are necessary. After two full day trips with the same tour operator, we spent over $800 and were completely disappointed; we feel ripped off. Cheryl Martin Disappointed consumer

Not worth it - Not worth it. Not much historical content. Hard to hear driver. Only information given whilst driving and was very limited. Bus had no heating and it was cold. View from the top was not to be missed, the trouble was it was mist.
