Un unforgettable experience with Jota - Despite the heavy rain on March 1, 2025, Jota made our experience truly unforgettable. Professional, respectful, and with a refined sense of humor, he was the perfect guide. His deep knowledge of both local and national culture and traditions, combined with his expertise in history, flora, and fauna, enriched our understanding immensely. He skillfully navigated all the shortcuts and two-way paths, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey.

Cultural safari in the Algarve - A cultural safari with a Juan guide passionate about the nature and vegetation of the Algarve. Through the slopes and small alleys, we were able to discover the different plantations of oranges, olives, grapes, avocados... a feat and a golden adventure. The Algarve region will remain etched in us.

Half day jeep safari of Algarve countryside - Fantastic Algarve Jeep Tour – Highly Recommended!
We had an incredible half-day jeep tour of the Algarve countryside, and it was truly a highlight of our trip! The scenery was stunning, with breathtaking views, charming villages, and a real taste of the region’s natural beauty.
A special mention goes to our guide, Miguel, who was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge of the area, history, and local culture was impressive, and he explained everything with such enthusiasm and clarity. He made the experience both fun and educational, answering all our questions and ensuring everyone had a great time.
The off-road adventure was exciting but always felt safe, and we loved the little stops along the way to explore hidden gems. The whole experience was well-organized, enjoyable, and full of surprises.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Algarve beyond the beaches. And if you get Miguel as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience!

Great Jeep Safari - Our jeep safari was amazing. “J” was very knowledgeable and was obviously very proud of his country. He identified the various types of trees and history behind the different architecture in multiple towns. Thank you so much for making this a memorable experience for us all. We had 3 Passengers from France and J went from English to French without missing a beat, his sense of humour also made our trip memorable.

Absolutely fab! - We (3 generations from 13 to 74) thoroughly enjoyed our half day jeep tour with Thomas (sp?). Thomas was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the area, and had a great sense of humour. My daughter was initially taken in by his 'It's only my second day on the job' line 🤣 (he has in fact worked for the company for many years and that was plain to see).
There were 6 of us, plus Thomas, in the jeep. Would have been a little cosy with 8 I think (there were 4 of us plus another 2). Yes, as others have said, the jeep is old but perfectly comfortable for the half day tour and it coped with whatever terrain we encountered. We started with the roof canvas on but this was rolled back when we got out of Albufeira.
We soon disappeared down various small, off road tracks, across a river and in to the countryside. Was lovely! We took in small villages, including a short 20 min stop where we could get a drink, a cake, pastel de nata, use the toilet, stretch our legs etc and then on to a waterfall. Thomas talked to us about the changing landscape between the north and south Algarve, we learned about cork harvesting and there were frequent stops to take in the various roadside herbs/ plants (wild thyme, fennel, eucalyptus and lavender to name a few).
There were some impressive dirt tracks, inclines and incredible views before ending up at a family run distillery for some tastings. Seemingly the route isn't fixed and the driver can choose which path to take, as such. Thomas described it as being the best job in the world and it clearly shows.
I think the half day tour was perfect for our needs. Always hard to know what the teens are going to enjoy, but they both thoroughly did. Apart from using their phones to take photos, I don't think they otherwise looked at them at all during the 4 hours!
We would all thoroughly recommend the tour, it's a great snapshot of the local area. Booked online direct and then wanted to add my mum to the booking, communication via email and WhatsApp was great. Pick up and drop off was at our accommodation and on time

A decent excursion for the price. - Fun afternoon, with an experienced local guide. We saw some fabulous sites, drove some crazy back roads, and also learned a bit about local farming and herbs that our guide Marco just seemed to find growing wildly, so would stop and let us taste/ smell. Unfortunately we did not visit the cork tree site, and with no explanation as to why this part of the itinerary was skipped, which was very disappointing. But Paderne, Alte, and Sao Bartolomeu de Messines were lovely spots!
