An absolutely beautiful experience spent with a local guide who led the way and showed us the most of Sapadero and it's nearby w - This day tour was absolutely perfect as the jeep took you into the Taurus mountains and headed for a small village where we sampled freshly baked, traditional flatbread with herbs, cheese and oil. We drove onto to visit the Sapadero Canyon Tour where we explored the local cave and then continued onto Kursenfall, the beautiful waterfall where you have the opportunity to take a dip and film some incredibly magnificent streams, waterfalls and beautiful mountains. We carried on down the mountains and stopped off for lunch at a traditional restaurant with a beautiful log burner where we supped Turkish coffee and ate beautifully grilled fish with salad, bulgur wheat and bread. The tour guide was positively amazing and such a cheerful, lovely gent who had a wealth of knowledge about the area and the local traditions. He was brilliant to watch and listen to with an amusing way about him. A truly beautiful personality...the driver was amazingly good and driven very safely.

It was amazing day with great people - F_A_B_U_L_O_U_S Day! Well organised, lovely tour personnel and lots of fun. Comfortable jeep, safe driver and lovely lunch. It was also lovely to be in the mountains and visit some of Turkey's countryside. 23 years ago I was on a week's jeep safari tour around Turkey and walked through the canyan in the river (albeit the river wasn't so full of water then!) Very hard to believe now we were allowed to do that : )

Excellent day trip - Great fun, well organised and great value! - This is an excellent tour, professionally ran, organised, friendly and extremely good value for money. The tour organiser picked us up from outside the hotel and were on time. The driver was friendly and spoke very good English. There were about 14 people on our Cabrio bus (a van without a roof!) We took the motorway partially and then started to head inland along the country roads through small villages and agricultural land. A quick call at the side of a Banana plantation with excellent photo opportunities over the coastal strip and mountain views. We were treated to a fun packed journey and yes, you will get wet, as there is a water fight between the 3 or 4 buses as they travel through the country roads and villages. Even the locals and children stand by the road and join in the fun with their hose pipes. You get saturated, but with the heat of the day, you dry very quickly and it does make the journey very enjoyable and the kids just adore it! There is a stop at a cave, which is not expensive but to be honest, it was very small and coming from an area where there are many caverns and caves, I guess I found this a little bit hyped up for what it was. There's a quick chance for toilets and ice cream also. The next stop was for a quick coffee stop, Turkish Coffee if preferred. Refreshments at a small village store then off to the Canyon. The Canyon is very busy and we visited in off-season. I dread to think what it must be like in peak season and the heat really makes it difficult to walk. As always some people are more pushy than others and you do get a few pushes and shoves by those that are impatient, however, the walk along the canyon is very nice and the pools look very welcoming but 8C temperature is way too cold for me. They say it's refreshing!!! So is a nice ice cream! The tour is very touristy and don't expect to see tucked away pockets of tranquility - the area is developed for tourism and bear this in mind. There are lots of people at the Canyon. Despite the amount of tourists, the trip was very enjoyable and the scenery is really nice. Be prepared to be offered photos and videos, for Sale, about £20 give or take at the end of the trip. The final trip stop after a 40 minute ride, is at the River Cafe. This isn't what I expected. There are small carpeted enclosures hanging over the river, where you sit on cushions and eat around a central table. This is a traditional way of dining in the area. Food is included but be aware that the drinks are very expensive, for Turkey and also the desserts are heavily marked up. I had the Vegetarian option and my meal was delicious, a blend of Turkish dips, salads, beans and lentils. I actually faired better than the 'meat eaters' with a choice of fish (trout) or Chicken with salad, Bulgar Wheat, Rice or potatoes. My partner enjoyed the trout! A quick 20 minute ride to the resort and back to the hotel. Our photos and video was sent that evening via Whatsapp message linking to a cloud file where you can download. All in all, an excellent trip, funny, organised well and the staff are great hosts. Recommended ***** - superb value for money! (You may give a tip to the host driver and/or photographer if you want to. We gave 200 tl each - just about £5 each but this is your choice, ofcourse! They really do work hard - the trip lasted 9am to 4pm - 7 hours approx) Remember to take a towel to dry off!!

A day full of experiences, good guides who made sure the trip was well planned and always with a smile on the lips. - Found this trip through Tripadvisor and we thought it sounded attractive with a walk up the mountains. We were so positively surprised, the trip went up through the mountains between banana plantations and the oil, stop at a dropstone cave, further to a nice walk into the mountains on a walking bridge with a spring water source where you could swim, at the end a nice waterfall where you could also swim. We finished eating at Dimçayı. Along the way there was a water fight with the other cars, super good experience and all the money was ⁇

A must do experience when visiting Alanya - It was absolutely excellent! My boyfriend and I booked it last minute and it was absolutely fantastic. It was a full day experience that was so much fun, definitely a must do when visiting Alanya. The fact the lead guide Onder said he was taking us away from the touristy areas and into rural turkey and it was the most interesting and eye opening experience along with so much fun !! The staff were very accommodating and lovely creating a brillant atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend enough🥳

sightseeing destination. A successful day worthwhile - nice excursion with several stops on the more than two-hour drive. Sometimes to visit a cave, sometimes to have a tea or a bite to eat or to be offered some crafts in the "Village Market". However, the breaks/stops were always in time and nobody tried to talk us up anything. The ride on an open bus can be quite "refreshing" in the early morning and in the shady mountain valleys (not to say: COLD) absolutely take a jacket for the ride ! at least in the cooler season. Several vehicles join together to form a small group during the journey. The guides are very friendly and really strive to make a successful day for your day guests. The short hike up to the end of the gorge to the waterfall is good for everyone (without walking difficulties), as the path is well prepared. For the most part, it runs on wide, well-secured wooden walkways. Scenic, the canyon is absolutely worth seeing and offers many photo spots. This included "lunch" in the afternoon around 3 p.m. taken at the river restaurant. The self-service BBQ from the buffet was really good, the additional "extras" such as drinks, fries and desserts were priced within normal limits. a rewarding day trip to the mountains, away from mass tourism on the Alanya coast. We liked it very much - Absolutely recommended !

Experiencing Turkey from a different angle - What a day to experience some of the natural beauty which Alanya has to offer. Pickup spot on time, and the drive up into the mountains was amazing exciting. The Sapadere Canyon was awesome plus we had fantastic weather and very few people around making it so relaxing. The only downside was that we drove nearly all the way back to Alanya for lunch, that was over an hour’s drive. Pity we couldn’t have had lunch closer to the canyon

Description vs Reality - Does not match the description here on TripAdvisor. No small group in the air-conditioned minibus. No German speaking guide. Instead, six open off-road vehicles with a total of 60 people. More of a fun tour. The main occupation was mutual wet spraying from plastic bottles (no drinking water). Loud party music that you couldn't talk to. The one hour at the canyon was mostly about standing, far too many people. Lucky to have seen him at all. The lunch buffet stock of salad and grilled chicken. Planed red cabbage, white cabbage, lettuce leaves...the cheapest. But the drinks had German prices. I don't want to badmouth the trip. But at least you should write what awaits you. If you want and book something like that, it's okay. It wasn't for me.
