• Gizeh Plateau - The tour begins at 8:00 am with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by our tour guide. You’ll start your full-day tour of Giza by visiting the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramids of Giza - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. You’ll also visit the Valley Temple, where priests mummified the body of King Chephren, the owner of the second pyramid at Giza. This is also where you can get a close-up look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with the body of a lion and the head of King Chephren. (2.30 hours spent)

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found, but the site has not been excavated.

• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. Several statues of Khafre were found in a well in the floor of the temple by Mariette in 1860.

• Pyramid of Menkaure - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple.

• Great Sphinx - Here, you will also get a close-up look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with the body of a lion and the head of King Chephren.
