Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, currently buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Although diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, the site has not been fully excavated. The complex also featured a causeway connecting the valley temple to a mortuary temple next to the pyramid. This causeway, once lined with statues and adorned with reliefs, showcases the grandeur of Khufu’s architectural achievements, though much of it is now lost. Archaeologists have uncovered parts of the causeway, providing valuable insights into the ancient structure.
