While a trip to Cairo might seem daunting, you can immerse yourself in Egyptian culture right in my home, located in the heart of Cairo. In my kitchen, I’ll teach you how to cook traditional Egyptian dishes and share the cultural background of the food you’re preparing. You can either join in for a hands-on cooking experience or relax at my bar table and watch me cook. Once the cooking is done, we’ll enjoy the meal together at my dining table. I’ll also provide you with written recipes of the dishes to take home. If you’d like to visit the market to gather ingredients together, please let me know.

I’ll start my cooking class teaching you how to make traditional Egyptian welcoming drink.
I will walk you through the cooking process step by step and teach you my personal cooking technique and my unique selection of herbs and spices to create the most authentic Egyptian meals you have ever tasted.

Best meal in Egypt - We had such a wonderful time! Mohammed and his team were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout the entire experience. We learned how to make several delicious Egyptian dishes (falafel, molokhia, moussaka, and mahshi) and loved every moment of it. A special shoutout to the talented lady who led most of the cooking (I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten her name!). She made the class engaging, hands-on, and so much fun.
The meal we enjoyed at the end was the best we had during our entire trip, and we still find ourselves thinking about it! We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and a deeper appreciation for Egyptian culture. Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting!

Cooking in the home - We were warmly welcomed and started together with our host on a little walk through the market. There we bought all the ingredients for the upcoming meal. Afterwards we went by TukTuk to the apartment, where everything was already lovingly prepared.
Then the cooking began: The menu included delicious falafel. The majority was prepared by our host’s family – we were allowed to help out a little, but we mostly watched and got a lot of exciting information about the ingredients and the preparation.
The food was a real highlight: It tasted wonderful and we felt completely comfortable. A great experience we can highly recommend!

Taste of local food and hospitality! ❤️ - What a great way for my daughter and I to end our 2 weeks in Egypt! The market was fun and food was good but the best part was the hospitality and time sharing stories with a wonderful family. Yasmine and Aylin were so fun to cook and laugh with, even with the language barrier. Thank you so much for the great evening.

Don't miss this once in a lifetime experience! - @rosa&moha are the absolute best. We enjoyed an afternoon at their home, we laughed all day, cooked our hearts out, learned a lot, danced and felt so welcome in their lovely home.
It's a must do experience.

Amazing meal with an Egyptian family - This was such an amazing evening. Sameh took us to a very local market and afterwards we cooked a super tasty local meal with his mom! They were both super friendly and talkative. I highly recommend this food course if you’re looking for an authentic experience and to see what life is like for Egyptians.

A True Taste of Egypt! - We did the cooking class during our week in Egypt and it became one of the highlights of our trip! The experience began with an exciting tuk-tuk ride and a visit to a bustling local market to buy fresh ingredients. Afterwards, we were warmly welcomed into the family’s home, where we learned to prepare traditional Egyptian dishes like Tameeya, Mahshi, Molokhia, Mousaka and Chicken. The best part was the family’s incredible hospitality - they were so friendly and full of joy! We laughed together, cooked to the rhythm of Egyptian music (ohhh satalana!), and felt like part of the family. It was such a unique and heartwarming experience that we’ll treasure forever. Thank you for sharing your culture with us!

Amazing cooking lesson with amazing people - Luma e Sameh, they we're simply amazing. They are good owners and good cooking teachers but first of all they are very kind, funny and generous... we felt like if we were at home. I can say only 'thanks' and if you can, go to their lesson. The place is not properly in the center but with a cheap uber you can reach them easily.
