Great Day with a Great Guide - Armann was an excellent guide, and I had a great day with him! He was extremely knowledgeable about the different locations we visited (as well as about history, geology, and a number of other topics), and was very patient and accommodating with the other participants on the tour (who were very difficult and who were perpetually behind schedule). We managed to visit everything on the itinerary, as well as a few other locations, and I had a great time speaking with Armann all day—so much so that I’ve booked another tour with him for the last day of my trip. If you are thinking of booking a tour while in Akureyri, I would strongly suggest booking this tour or any of the other tours from Imagine Iceland Travel!

Excellent Tour for experiencing the beauty of Iceland. - Really enjoyed this fantastic day out on a very cold day. We were picked up from our hotel; before we departed, our guide, Daniel, made sure everyone on the trip was suitably dressed and prepared for the weather conditions. We visited 2 stunning waterfalls and saw some amazing volcanic and glacial landscapes. We were really well looked after on this tour, making stops to purchase drinks and snacks and were provided with crampons for the snowiest path to see Dettifoss There was time for a relaxing dip in the nature baths at lake myvatn too. Although the weather conditions limited the places we could reach even in the 4x4, we felt safe, comfortable and very entertained on this tour. Highly recommend this tour as a great way to go and experience the beauty of Iceland.

Nature at her best! - We had booked this tour and was contacted by the boss the day before as the weather was too bad to go out. We were given two options full refund or rebook. We chose to rebook but would have to reduce the tour again as the weather wouldn’t allow access to certain areas. We went the following day and it was amazing our guide Allam (sorry if it’s spelt wrong) was very knowledgeable and we laughed all day. There was only the four of us on the tour and it was more like a private tour. The scenery in Iceland is spectacular and I would recommend seeing as much as you can.

Not great for me - The guide was ok the tour was ok but 7 adults (inc guide) in one Jeep was not ok two in the back was fine one in the front was fine three in the middle was very uncomfortable The largest member of the group was in the middle and his partner was probably not bothered being scrunched as it was their honeymoon. It was not good for me though by the end of the tour I was aching all over. I would have given two stars based on my experience but I appreciate that for those with more room at the front or back it would not have been as bad.
