Nature is the star in Iceland - A group of us (8) took this tour in July, and I would hightly recommend it! The tour showed the diversity of natural settings Iceland has to offer. Our tour guide was very knowledge and handled a rude passenger with kindness and grace. The length of the time at each stop was perfect. It gave us plenty of time to take in the experience. A wonderful tour!

Great time... - Great tour. Vicky the Viking and G Money did a great job herding sheep and providing a myriad of history and pertinent information.

Many Fantastic Stops on the Six Hour Tour - Well worth the time and money (a great variety of stops) ... Very Scenic Drive ... Superb horseshoe falls ... You could get pretty close to the falls for great views and photos ... Lunch was included and needed as it was a long tour (6 hours) ... The Hot Springs/Mud Pots/Vents area was colorful and aromatic ... Had a visit to the Lava Tubes which was also interesting ... Last stop was at the pseudo craters ... The amount of time at each site could have been longer to really take it all in but it did work ... We had a tremendous guide on this July 6 tour ... We can't say enough about his ability to communicate interesting information while on the tour - great employee

Day trip from Akureyri - Our guide Borge was very fun and full of information. The waterfall was something to see. I beautiful sight. The Myvatn area was full of lava formations and bodies of water. The area we visited with the boiling mud pots and fumeroles was interesting but pretty stinky. Our lunch was picnic style but it was kind of cold and we ran out of spaces outside so my husband and I sat inside the bus to eat.

Superb tour - highly recommended - Superb excursion. Every aspect was as we hoped for. Very good, friendly and funny driver, and an excellent, entertaining tour guide (Inna? Unsure how to spell her name). The day was very well structured, With regular stops at all the amazing sights.

Bad time management - Unfortunately our trip took nearly one and a half hours longer than excepted so we had only 20 minutes left to get back to our ship on time. We had no time left to walk leisurely through the pedestrian zone or see sights in town, we planned before. That’s a pity and shouldn’t have happened.

Not a recommended excursion, - The only memorable moment came when the kid behind us started to vomit on the way back to the ship. The excursion itself was mediocre. The lunch was awful.

Sites worth it, guide, not so much - What made the tour worthwhile were the sites themselves. The tour guide was not as informative as the other guides we've had. He seemed very uninterested and offered minimal information on the sites we were visiting. I'm not sure if it was due to his lack of fluency in the English language, but it came off as indifferent. A lot of time on the bus was spent in silence on his part or speaking to the driver in Icelandic. As stated before, what made the tour worth taking were the sites that were visited.

Stay away from Bus Iceland tours. - The tour operator sent the wrong meet up point and never apologized for it. The tourguide is a lady with tats and colored hair barely said 500 words throughout the 6 hour trip. She was just there to punch in her time and be able to say i was there. Its true when they say the tour guide can make or break a day! This time around the tour operator and the guide ruined the tour! Stay away from Bus Iceland tours!
