Great experience would highly recommend! - Our guide Joanne picked us up at the cruise terminal in a van. She got us to all of the sights before most of the big charter busses so we didn't have to contend with the large crowds. Since we were in a van we were able to go to places the busses couldn't. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this excursion!

Express trip, but hit the highlights and very well done - I was on this trip traveling as a solo, but quickly found the small group tour meshed well and the tour guide Mati (Mateusz?) was excellent. He was informative and quite friendly, asking about time constraints and readily adjusting the tour to accommodate and even added a stop for us to see and pet some horses on the way back to the ship.

Private Adventure tour Goðafoss waterfall, Lake Mývatn, Akureyri and so much more - We had a great day of touring with Baldur and Fox Adventure. I found Fox Adventure on TripAdvisor two weeks before leaving for our cruise. Communication with Jowi via email was fantastic, and booking the tour on their website was easy. Baldur was at the cruise terminal before pick-up time and went out of his way to make sure our trip went smoothly. Baldur is a native Icelander with a great attitude and knowledge since he grew up there. This tour was private for our family 6, including my elderly parents. Baldur was very kind and helpful to my parents. When they could not leave the van because of mobility issues, Baldur showed them photos of the area on his phone. He is quite thoughtful about making his guests comfortable and an impeccable driver, and there’s no way we’d have been able to see so much without this tour. He showed us the breathtaking Goðafoss waterfall, a spot where the tectonic plates meet, some very cool geothermal activity, Lake Mývatn and Akureyri. We learned so much about Akureyri and Iceland. I love this area and would love to come back one day. Baldur’s van is very comfortable and clean. It is equipped with WiFi and a microphone system, which makes it easy to hear in the back of the van. I highly recommend Baldur and his Fox Adventure Team. Thank you, Baldur, for a wonderful time.

Perfect cruise stop tour! - This tour was a great cruise-stop sampler of all the area has to offer. The small group size (only 8 for us) made stops so easy to manage. Great photo moments and you’ll want to spring for the thermal baths. Consider packing snacks so you don’t waste time and money getting food at the bath. Our tour guide, Mattie, was wonderful—a good driver, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I would strongly recommend this tour.

A MUST small group tour of the Diamond Circle - What a tour of the Diamond Circle!❤️ It offered us so much more than the cruise tour (and cheaper)! Our lively small group tour consisted of 7 people from 3 different countries. Our tour guide Mati was great, so relaxed, definitely no pressure re time spent at each site and the Mytvn baths. His insight was informative and he answered all our questions about living in Iceland. He even made an impromptu stop to feed Icelandic horses along the way. He definitely had as much fun as we did. A memorable day.

A wonderful way to experience some beautiful diverse Icelandic scenery - What a great tour today. Completely 5star. From the waterfall to the nature baths to volcanic trolls and mud pots, this tour had it all. Joanne knew her way around and whilst some of us did the nature baths sorted a tour of the geothermal power station for those that didn’t. Highly recommend this as a tour from Akeyuri.

Great experience! - In general, the personnel was very supportive. Great service, I would definitely recommend the tour! They offered me to pick me up at the airport, which was not part of the tour. They also dropped me in the AirB&B. Very kind!

Great tour, great guide - I’m not normally into tours, but this was excellent. Johanna was a great tour guide, she was full of great information, an impeccable driver and there’s no way we’d have been able to see so much without a tour. Highly recommended!

Diverse Landscapes from Akureuri - I would gladly give the the actual stops a 4 star but the accommodations were very misleading. I payed nearly double to do a small tour. I have booked small tours before and the ride was typically something similar to a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. I would not have booked if I had known the small tour meant a glorified mini van where I would be required to sit in the middle front seat (a seat for a toddler) between the driver and a 250+ lb. man. I could not place my feet flat and my legs were cockeyed and kept falling asleep the entire day. It was disappointing that it was such a cold day (even our guide was cold). That but a damper on the stops but we can't control the weather and made the best of it. We saw a variety of landscapes (Godafoss, Myvatn Lake, geothermal fields, a "bonus" crater and the Myvatn Baths). Beautiful and diverse scenery throughout the day. Loved the Baths and that helped warm us all up. The guide was very friendly and kept us on track for time.
