Discover Ajanta caves for couple of hours, then come back to the parking area by same shuttle bus, then we move towards Ellora caves and the journey takes another couple of hour.

Ellora Caves - After reaching Ellora caves , explore Ellora caves for 2-3 hours.
The incredible Kailasa Temple (also known as the Kailash Temple), which forms Cave 16 at Ellora, is undoubtedly the most famous attraction. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and his sacred abode at Mount Kailash. Its immense size covers twice the area of the Pantheon in Athens, and is one and a half times as high! The life-size elephant sculptures are a highlight.The most incomprehensible thing about the Ajanta and Ellora caves is that they were crafted by hand, with only a hammer and chisel. There are various cave complexes in India, but these are definitely the most spectacular.
Now head to Aurangabad, you will reach by 6 Pm you will be in the city, then our driver will drop you at the Airport or Railway station or if you are going to stay in Aurangabad for the night then our driver will drop you at Hotel.

Ellora Caves — A Timeless Wonder - Ellora Caves are truly one of the finest testimonies to India’s architectural brilliance. Visiting this place was an incredibly soothing and peaceful experience. The intricate carvings with a fascinating history behind have always intrigued me.
It was a dream come true moment visiting Ellora, It’s a must-visit destination. When you’re there, you can truly feel the depth of India's rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

One day visit both of Ajanta and Ellora Caves - Really amazed by dedicated, knowledgeable guide (Mr. Thomas), Even visiting two caves one day would be a bit tight, but it would work and could safely come back to my hotel aground 7pm.

Tremendous Ajanta murals and breathtaking Kailasa temple at Ellora - The Ajanta and Ellora caves are an amazing experience if you're into history and art. Ajanta is famous for its beautiful Buddhist paintings, while Ellora has a mix of Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain temples, with the Kailasa temple being the star. The tours are well-organized, and the guides explain the history really well. Be ready to walk a lot, and don’t forget your camera—there’s so much to see!

Stunning site! Well worth a day trip from Aurangabad - These are stunning caves- well worth the trip- carved into the side of a mountain/hill there are many rooms temples- sleepig quarters. I have twice had a guide t salk about them and they have been well worth the cst and then took more time to wander through and linger.

Aurangabad tour operator - Science can't explain how this was done in the BC ie the technology at that time to carve solid volcanic rock is just not possible
Andbi had an incredible tour guide and owns his own car and speaks excellent English and goes out of his way to help you get your tickets
His name is M. Taqui tel +91 9890363536 just a amazing person with a positive outlook on life and says it is his skill that is important in the world

It was smooth. - The morning pick-up to and from the airport went smoothly, it was good to get around efficiently. It's hard to do two tours in a day, but this tour is possible.

Ajanta and Ellora single day trip - The tour overall was great. We did the option of going to both Ajanta and Ellora. Just make sure to check the dates you plan on going, because you can only do both sites on certain days! We did pay extra for a guide, which was well worth it. These are very historic sites with lots of statues, figures, paintings, etc. So it was nice to have an expert there to explain what each thing means. You will also be shown some shops on the side, but that is fine because there is plenty of time for the tour for the most part (we didn’t get to see all of Ellora, but we did get to see 100% of Ajanta).

Smooth trip, great communication - Everything went smooth, Irfan -our driver picked us up from the airport on time and we headed straight to the Ajanta caves. He stayed in touch with us to pick us up after we were done with the caves. Then we headed to Ellora caves, where he told us the must see caves and where to go and how to get the entry tickets. He also suggested a local place to eat around Ellora caves that was amazing in taste and price. Jai contacted us few days before the trip to tell us that the whole plan depends on our flights and possible delays, and if we won’t have enough time we might have to cut the trip short, which is totally understandable. But we have managed to see all of the Ajanta and Ellora caves in one day!!! We arrived to Aurangabad at 6:30am and got back to the airport at 6pm and that is just enough time for both of the caves. We truly recommend this tour if you want to see both caves in one day.
