Ajanta and Ellora single day trip - The tour overall was great. We did the option of going to both Ajanta and Ellora. Just make sure to check the dates you plan on going, because you can only do both sites on certain days! We did pay extra for a guide, which was well worth it. These are very historic sites with lots of statues, figures, paintings, etc. So it was nice to have an expert there to explain what each thing means. You will also be shown some shops on the side, but that is fine because there is plenty of time for the tour for the most part (we didn’t get to see all of Ellora, but we did get to see 100% of Ajanta).

Smooth trip, great communication - Everything went smooth, Irfan -our driver picked us up from the airport on time and we headed straight to the Ajanta caves. He stayed in touch with us to pick us up after we were done with the caves. Then we headed to Ellora caves, where he told us the must see caves and where to go and how to get the entry tickets. He also suggested a local place to eat around Ellora caves that was amazing in taste and price. Jai contacted us few days before the trip to tell us that the whole plan depends on our flights and possible delays, and if we won’t have enough time we might have to cut the trip short, which is totally understandable. But we have managed to see all of the Ajanta and Ellora caves in one day!!! We arrived to Aurangabad at 6:30am and got back to the airport at 6pm and that is just enough time for both of the caves. We truly recommend this tour if you want to see both caves in one day.

Unbelievable Carving - We traveled by road from Pune to Aurangabad. Is spite of the rainy season we had a pretty much uneventful journey. We stayed in a Tata group hotel called Ginger. Very well maintained facility with a Restaurant included for easy dining facility. We had originally planned to visit Ellora on the day of our arrival in Aurangabad but because of the crowds we decided to postpone the visit to another day. The following day we drove to Ajanta caves and spent the entire day there. It was truly an amazing experience. Even more amazing was the visit to Ellora. Both locations are worth a visit for any travelers vising that part of Bharat.

An incredible cultural experience of heritage India - Visiting the Ajanta and Ellora Caves is a breathtaking experience that transports you to the heart of India's ancient art, culture, and spirituality. Located in the state of Maharashtra, these UNESCO World Heritage Sites are a must-visit for anyone interested in history, art, and architecture.
Ajanta Caves are renowned for their stunning frescoes and intricate carvings that depict the life of Buddha and scenes from Jataka tales. The artwork, crafted over 1,500 years ago, has retained its beauty and detail, captivating visitors with its depth, color, and complexity. The serene atmosphere and the intricate carvings are truly mesmerizing, making you feel as if you’ve stepped back in time.
Ellora Caves, a short drive from Ajanta, offer an equally amazing experience, featuring a mix of Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain monuments. The highlight here is the magnificent Kailasa Temple (Cave 16), a massive monolithic structure that stands as a testament to the incredible skill and devotion of its creators. It's astonishing to think that this temple was carved from a single rock, with every detail meticulously crafted by hand. Each cave has a unique story, showcasing the harmony between different religious traditions.
The entire experience is awe-inspiring and educational, offering insight into ancient Indian culture, spirituality, and craftsmanship. The caves are well-preserved, and information panels are available, adding context and helping you appreciate the history behind each site. For anyone interested in cultural heritage, Ajanta and Ellora are treasures that should be high on your travel list.

Great tour with THOMAS the experienced tour guide at an extra charge! A MUST DO 👌 - This tour was well organized and even went out of their way to included exoerienced tour guide on our request and entry to all areas that took us directly through the entrance gates like VIP.. our highly Experienced tour guide THOMAS was EXCELLENT! his knowledge was astonishing and was extremely interesting to hear the history or ot all. He went out of his way for us in every way possible and guided us safely through both places. Also with us paying extra to have entry prepaid he knew all the security people and ticket people at the caves which made it all streamline through perfectly (he has his contacts and is very very well know in the industry as it seemed EVERYONE knew him. It was wonderful.

Excellent service - They were concerned from the beginning in helping us with the itinerary, in such a way as to comply with visiting all the caves of Ellora and Ajanta. The driver picked up us at the hotel on time and at always he met our requirements. They considered the best route to finish the tour at the airport, and thus take our flight to the next destination.

Amazing world heritage sites.. breathtakingly beautiful! - A great trip, friendly driver, clean and comfortable car. We were travelling as a family with young kids and it was perfect, would recommend 😀
If you are tight on time, this is a great way to do both Ajanta and Ellora on the same day. We left our hotel in Aurangabad around 7.30am and came back around 5.30pm. It didn’t feel rushed, we took our time and used the local guides at each monument to right size how much time we wanted to spend at each location. There was enough time to have breaks during the long stints of driving…to get some snacks, stretch our legs etc.

Ajanta and Ellora Caves in One Day - This is a very good way to see Ajanta and Ellora in the same day. The driver told us what time we needed to start and how long we could stay so that we could see the all the highlights and still catch our evening flight. It was a busy day and everything worked as expected. I highly recommend this tour for those with only one day to see the area. If you hire a guide at the site, be sure to tell them how much time you want to spend at a specific site (Kailasa Temple) as we did not do this and felt pressed for time near the end.

Ajanta and Ellora 1 day is enough - Ajanta and Ellora caves are really beautiful and worth visiting. And 1 day is totally enough to see both places. Here I am giving a review to an activity organized by specific company. The activity I did is basically just a private driver who takes you to Ajanta and Ellora caves. It's good if you have 1 day, want to see it at your own pace and don't need a guide.
