Amazing experience! - We had a super fun e-bike tour. Exploring Ajaccio by bike was one of the best experiences in Corsica. With this tour you will see both the city and the immediate surroundings, with the Genoese Tower di a Parata as one of the highlights. Recommended for everyone!

Would go back to Ajaccio City - The mobility of the bike was awesome. We were able to get around very well. The bike paths are not very well laid out so there may be some crossover with the road. Riding in the city was a little more difficult until you reach the outskirts and then you can really open up and ride fast. Just be weary of other vehicles on the road. If I could have had the bike for more than 3 hours it would have been perfect for a day trip/stop at Palm Beach which is lined with restaurants and an excellent beach area. If you re getting off a Cruise ship and do not want to use a bike, get to the nearest bus stop which will be past the market and past the restaurants and catch the bus down the street to palm beach fro three euros one way (the driver has change). Hang out there and enjoy the sunshine, warm water and sandy beaches.

Great views of the ocean. - Nice activity to get a little bit of exercise and see a lot of the seaside coast. It was a little tricky getting out of town but it got easier the more you traveled. We were originally hesitant to ride on the side of the road because of the heavy amount of traffic but the cars are used to it and they go around you just fine. The sidewalks are too crowded in the city center. The E-bikes themselves were nice to pedal since minimal effort was required 90% of the time. We went all the way to the end of the island where the islands are located. Amazing views of the sea. We were able to make it there and back with 3 hours. Bring plenty to drink.

A great way to see the local scenery near to Ajaccio - We walked about a mile to the Appebike shop from the cruise terminal, and were met by a friendly lady who gave us some maps and explained the route to us in English. We then collected the bikes and were fitted for a helmet. The bikes had a bag on the back for our backpacks. We then set off following the route highlighted for us. It was tricky riding through the city and we got lost a few times before finally setting out on the beach road. The E-bikes make life easy and we cycled out to the Islands, some 12 kms away. There is a car park with toilets and a mobile cafe selling drinks and food there, and further on there is a shop selling tourist items. We walked up to the viewpoint and back again and then cycled back towards Ajaccio, stopping for a swim at one of the gorgeous beaches. The water here is stunning, as are the scenic views. The journey back through the city was easier on the way back and we arrived back at the shop safely. The man at the shop kindly phoned a taxi to take us back to the cruise terminal. We enjoyed the experience very much and only give 4/5 because the maps aren't particularly detailed to help with the route out of Ajaccio - we wasted a alot of time! Corsica is beautiful and I hope to return again.

Friendly staff but subpar experience - It's better to think of it as a bike rental rather than a bike tour; not only is there no guide (which we knew coming in, but is easy to miss), the provided route doesn't show much of the city. It's just a ride down the main city road until you get to the coast, where you ride along pretty beaches before turning around and coming back the way you came. We were expecting something that would take us to more landmarks around Ajaccio. The bikes themselves are more uncomfortable and unforgiving than other e-bikes I've seen (they just feel like normal mediocre-quality bikes with pedal assist tacked on). This made the beginning part of the route along the main city road even more challenging; the combination of the narrow busy street, our lack of experience, and the difficulty of the bikes meant that it took us almost an hour to get to the coast. After that, we were too burnt out from the stress of getting there and the discomfort of the bikes to go very far along before turning back around. Probably a fun experience for people who bike more consistently and are more comfortable biking in an urban environment to get through the beginning portion. If you're just lazy tourists like we were, though, there are better ways to see the city.

Cancelled but we were not notified - We walked over a mile from the port to pick up our bikes and then we’re told the bikes were cancelled. We were on time at 9:00 and then got an email at almost 10 saying it was cancelled. Wish they would have notified us earlier. Not sure what happened. The gentleman at the bike place very apologetic and kind not his fault.

Once we got out of the city the coast was beautiful. - We were dissappointed to learn this was not a guided tour. The folks at the bike shop were friendly and the bikes fine but we expected more guidance rather than just a map and the challenge of riding a cirty that has different bike rules than we are used to in the US.
