Highly recommend! - My sister and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Our tour guide, Julian, was great. During our free time in Cassis he took us to a perfume shop and helped us find a restaurant for lunch. Highlights for me were the boat ride and view of Cassis from the viewpoint we stopped at. The wines were also good!

Beautiful tour, good variety and well worth the price. - We added the Cassis Village, boat ride and local wine tasting tour to our itinerary at the last minute and I am sure glad we did. Our tour guide and driver was Jillian from Ophorous tours. Jillian was friendly, a great driver, knowledgeable about all things regarding Cassis, provided great pro-tips as to where to eat and shop and was always available to take those priceless photos. The van was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Our tour started with a boat ride to the coves of the national park. Fortunately/smartly Jillian and the boat captain were able to get us out to the park/coves prior to all the other boats full of tourists arrived. The boat was the perfect size for our small group of 10. By arriving at the coves early, we were able to get great photo opportunities and enjoy the stunning beauty of this wonderful national park. After the hour boat ride, we headed back to the town of Cassis where Cassis was able to walk us around and provide pro-tips as to where to eat and shop. The places where we went, based upon Jillian's recommendations, were outstanding. The time allotted to us in the town of Cassis was sufficient for us to eat, shop, walk around without feeling rushed. Following our Cassis town visit, we headed up to a high vantage point/cliff overlooking Cassis and the national park. The views from this location were priceless and enabled us to get incredible photos. Even though I suffer from a bit of vertigo, I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to this location. Thereafter, we visited a local winery. The tour of the winery was provided by an employee of the winery and was really good, thorough and enabled us to taste a number of different wines, all which were really good and reasonably priced. We were also allowed to observe the bottling process of the wines. I found the process fascinating and even though I have been to more than my share of wineries I had never had the opportunity to experience this process. Overall this was a very enjoyable tour and a great way to finish our vacation in Provence. Thank you Jillian and Ophorous Provence for providing such a good tour.

Lovely day in Cassis - A lovely day—-Julien was a fantastic guide, we had a wonderful time! The boat trip to see the Calanques was a delight, and we enjoyed having enough time to stroll about town after and grab some fresh seafood. Never felt rushed like some other tours.

Superb tour to a gem of a spot - A wonderfully diverse tour to an exquisite little town on the Mediterranean. The colours of the water are something to be seen. The view from Cap Canaille is stunning. And the boat ride through the Calanques was spectacular. Then wine! What a special experience with an excellent guide.

Beautiful Calanques…wish we could swim! - We booked this tour because we really wanted to explore the Calanques and learn more about Provence wines. In retrospect I think you need 2 separate tours for this. Our guide was Camille who was engaging and friendly. Our first stop was the town of Cassis, where we got on a hour long boat to see the Calanques. I expected a private boat for our group but it had others on it. The captain gave commentary in French which I understood but others in our group did not. This boat ride was underwhelming. I’d recommend switching the agenda to actually including swimming in the Calanques with a private boat for the group. The nature itself is stunning. The Calanques are pristine clear bays flanked by the most impressive limestone cliffs. Now a national park, they previously mined a lot of the limestone here to build the ports around the area. We observed kayakers and swimmers in each bay. Next we went to Cap Canail which is a viewpoint with a birds eye views of the town. We then stopped for 2 hours in Cassis to enjoy lunch and explore. Our group enjoyed eating lunch together and Camille was great at helping us order food. Then we were off to a winery called Bodin. We enjoyed the wine tasting. It was informative and the wine was good. However while we were there a few other tour groups also showed up. This clearly annoyed the lady at the winery doing the tastings and she bitched about it to our group which felt unprofessional. We did enjoy the wine and tried to buy the wine to be shipped, they emailed us a quote but never bothered responding to our follow up question. There are fantastic other wineries we self toured along the D98 road between Hyères and St Tropez, maybe make the winery tour separate.
