Your guide will be standing outside of the Tourism Office, with a view of the "rotonde' fountain, holding a folder. This area is very bright in the summer, so we suggest you bring your sunglasses. The tour will leave maximum 10 minutes after the allocated meet time! We will contact you via SMS.

Aix Tour with Ben Reilly July 2025 - Ben Reilly took his tourists through Roman and German medieval battles for supremacy of Provençal. I went to see the mountains and countryside that Cezanne painted but got a more in-depth history of Aix, centuries before Cezanne.
Ben knows Aix history very well. He loves Aix and can talk about the art work of Cezanne too.
I strongly recommend Ben Reilly. He’s upbeat, extremely knowledgeable and a lot of fun to follow him, while he talks about and shows Aix historic sites.

Best guide ever! - Ben is a great guide. His extensive knowledge of the history of Aix en Provence was very evident and he manages to make it all very interesting. I almost forgot to take pictures I was so intrigued by the stories he told. We wandered the streets and markets making for a very pleasant and relaxed morning.

Great tour with great information - Benjamin was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable and witty. He was great with all of my kids ages 14-19 and everyone had a great time. Used his information to plan the rest of our visit.

Knowledgeable but difficult/off-color guide - Pros - guide was very knowledgeable and showed us a ton of stuff
Cons - we found his demeanor quite grating so the tour was hard to enjoy. He immediately told us that the “uneducated and ignorant” people stay in Marseille and not Aix (after we told him we were staying in Marseille), he frequently made corny jokes and then paused until we gave an obligatory laugh, and after he took our photo and told us to kiss (which was fine) he then said “Now shag!”
