Endless summer in Agadir with your Teenage kids - I am a family of 5, myself, wife and 3 x teenage daughters travelling to Agadir for a short stay 4 night trip. We flew from Bournemouth leaving our car at the airport parking, I already arranged the airport Agadir private pick up and return using suntransfers.com which worked seamlessly. We had a modern Vito van both ways and was well worth the £80 for ease. The Hotel we stayed in was Dunes d'Or Ocean Club on a part board not full board, their websites pre-booking systems with teenagers was problematic and caused some confusion at the front desk when we arrived. Misaligned protocols from website booking and online pre-booking system and front desk, teenagers vs kids are dealt differently at the front desk, so persevere and go with what you booked as they will try and give you a smaller room. Once we finally had the rooms issue sorted at the desk there was a big queue, the advantage of pre-booking a private pick up was we arrived ahead of the other guests which meant we were seen first. The front desk was understaffed and people were irate. The Hotel itself looked fine, the main pool and the surrounding areas looked clean and welcoming. The rooms were not so polished as I would expect for a so called 5 star, although we didn't get the pool view we booked (probably caused from the confusion at the front desk) it was big enough clean with the essentials and was on the ground floor. If you stay at this hotel I am doing a a separate review on the hotel, it is spread out and for the time of year it was understaffed, it is a 4 star no more. Go for full board if you plan on not worrying about eating or drinking outside of the Hotel, because if you do half board they will sting you on food and drink with the workers trying to get you to pay cash so they can pocket it (they tried this twice to us). The location of the Hotel in Agadir is perfect for what we wanted, you can get food and drink outside for so much cheaper within a 15-20min walk. Locals are friendly and wanting to sell you something, its part of the charm and is expected. We walked up to the Cable car about 30mins from Hotel, amazing view as you go up to the fort on the hill which also has camel rides and stray cats. We caught a taxi (£5) back to the boardwalk beach area and had dinner nearby the Hotel, a 10 min back to Hotel. There are occasional army and police presence so it felt safe. We did other tourist things like the Medina, the main Souk but mainly hung around the pool and soaked up the late October sun rays. I recommend Agadir as a Family friendly short visit or a getaway to catch the last sun. Not sure about peak time, but we enjoyed it.

Not a private transfer. - Not really private transfer. Maybe we were unlucky but company send for us old taxi, no AC. We arrived safely to hotel in the end so ganerous 2 stars.

Rubbish - Driver didn't turn up at airport we waited 20 mins then got a local taxi for the same price I have messaged for a refund but still waiting
