Whitehaven Xpress offers 2 hours on Whitehaven Beach (not too long and not too short), where you are provided with a satisfying Aussie Beach BBQ which includes steak, sausages, chilli burgers, salads and tropical fruits. (Vegetarians, Fish & Chicken diets are catered for with prior request). The Whitehaven Beach BBQ is prepared for your enjoyment under the shade of the National Park. Picnic tables with proper crockery and cutlery too, plus cold drinks available for purchase!

This family owned and operated tour is hosted by Capt Dan & crew, and has been in the family since 1989.
FARE INCLUDES: BBQ lunch, stinger suits, morning & afternoon tea and transfers from your accommodation.
THE VESSEL: Indoor, outdoor and upstairs seating - the choice is yours. With a licensed bar & toilets onboard for your convenience. One of the few fast vessels you can walk around when underway.

A fantastic trip to beautiful Whitehaven Beach. - We had a wonderful day today, visiting Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet with the fantastic crew of the Whitehaven Xpress. Captain Dan, Decky Dan and the lovely Jess, who picked us up and dropped us off in their minibus and looked after all our needs during the day - a wonderful crew!We had heaps of time to enjoy Whitehaven Beach.
Captain Dan cooked up a delicious BBQ lunch which was served with lovely fresh salad, followed by a fresh fruit platter.
We visited Hill Inlet to enjoy the magnificent views and had an opportunity to swim there too.
Morning and afternoon tea were included, as well as the lovely BBQ lunch.
A fantastic crew who made us feel very welcome.
Would highly recommend this small, family-run business. Support the small guy!!

Incredible experience all round, cannot fault them whatsoever. Such an amazing experience! - This trip was absolutely sensational. From the moment we were picked up right to the return back to our accomodation - everything was amazing. The crew (‘Deckie’ Dan, ‘Captain’ Dan and Jess) were very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was well catered for and content. No task was too big or too small for them.
The BBQ lunch on the beach was to die for with plenty of food available if you wanted seconds. They cook the meat to your liking and homemade the accompanying salads. They cater for dietary requirements (including vegan and vegetarian options) with no fuss whatsoever.
Plenty of time on Whitehaven beach was had and they do not rush you and let you do things at your own pace. They were very informative about places we visited and the islands we went past. The option of 2 different lookouts were available whilst on this tour, which was excellent and well worth the trek!
A selection of cold beer (and other alcoholic beverages) and soft drinks, which were well stocked, were available to purchase as well at a great price. As well as chocolate bars, chips, etc.
A smaller boat meant less people and plenty of space on the boat to move around - didn’t feel like you were packed in like sardines! Room inside the cabin to sit, as well as plenty of seats outside and a few seats available upstairs too. A toilet is available on the boat which was very clean and tidy.
Tea and coffee is available on the way out (FYI, Jess makes a GREAT tea) and snacks were provided throughout the day. You definitely do not come away at the end of the day hungry 😁
The price was very reasonable and worth every cent that we paid. Cannot recommend this family owned business enough as they provided such a personable experience. Will definitely tour with them again when we visit 🤗

Whitehaven Xpress Boat Tour First Class Family Rn Business. Highly recommended. - Amazing family run business. Jess, Michaela, Luke and Captain Dan couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. Perfect number on board for everyone to get to know one another. Best trip ever had and nothing was too much bother. They even ran over time no rush like big companies. Also Luke lead the tours to the lookouts on the North and South of Whitehaven beach and was very knowledgeable and fun as well S the perfect camera man. Now the Barbecue was something else and the amount of food available was very generous with many going for second helpings. The crack was fabulous and highly recommend booking with these guys.

Exceptional! - Great value for money as family owned and operated meant smaller group of travellers and friendly personal service by Jess, Captain Dan and ‘Deckie’ Dan. We had perfect weather and the beach and two guided walks to lookouts were magnificent with exceptional views. After all this activity we really appreciated the yummy BBQ lunch with plenty of steak, fish and salads cooked on the beach by the crew. We highly recommend this trip when visiting Airlie Beach 👍👍👍

Amazing - Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet are well worth the journey. The views are amazing.
We were really looked after by the crew - Jess and the 2 Dans. The BBQ, at the beach was tasty, and Jess provided snacks on both of the journey.

Epic tour, best lunch, plenty of beach time - The trip was absolutely amazing. The crew were very friendly and accommodating. The lunch on the beach is absolutely amazing as you get a proper BBQ lunch and plenty of time on Whitehaven. As a local who has done all of the tours I appreciate this tour alot more because of the quality time you get on the beach. Your not rushed around. Jess and dan are amazing. My favourite hosts. Jess took care of everything. Such a great family business. Cheaper than other tours and trust me as someone who has done all the tours the whitsundays has to offer, They do the best food.

Lovely Boat Trip - Very friendly staff. We were picked up a 4-5 minute walk from our accommodation, with a slight delay, but that was okay, it can happen. After that, we had a lovely boat trip. Overall, a very good experience that I can recommend.

Brilliant smaller boat experience - Brilliant staff ... informative and engaging. We deliberately picked a smaller boat and couldn't fault the experience in any way. Great day out from start to finish. Beaut BBQ lunch. Comfortable boat. Not a single thing to dislike ... unconditional recommendation.

Definitely a must!! - It was a lovely day and Captain Dan gave us some history of Ailey beach on the way there, Jess and Decker Dan took us for guided walks to the lookouts.
The bbq and swim were wonderful and overall it was an amazing experience

Top experience, perfect way to experience a beautiful area in a real down to earth Aussie way - We had a shabby weather day for our day trip, but it didn’t affect us having an incredible day. The crew were the best we have had on a tour, nothing was too big an effort for Jess, she was just an absolute gem making sure everyone had all they needed. Very well catered, Dan can cook a BBQ as well as he drives the boat, delicious food & a great ride even on a rough day. Some great laughs had with Sam, he made sure everyone was having fun. Beautiful sites, and plenty of time at each spot to really take it in. Fantastic experience for our whole family! Thanks so much guys!
