- Agra Fort - Agra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Before capture by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it were the Marathas.
Agra Fort is near the gardens of Taj Mahal stands the important 16th-century Mughal monument known as the Red Fort of Agra. Triangle trip with Taj Mahal - The trip was superb. The guide , Jithu was amazing he made us feel at home with his dynamic personality and versatility. Great experience - Jit is amazing with the knowledge of Agra including the Taj Mahal and the fort. He too kid around for the local artisans and great connection in the community. Fluency in English helped us for our daughter to understand as well.
