Taste of Crete - It’s worth every penny. We lives this experience. You have enough time in each stop to enjoy the city. The tour guide was very helpful. Manos explained with detail the history along the way and at each stop. You will be able to shop and eat at each stop. Spinalonga and diving into the water was the highlight of the tour. 100% recommended.

Fabulous Day Out - Our guide gave us great information on the coach about our journey and surroundings and on arrival she explained various places to visit giving clear directions to find your way around Agios Nicolaos, I visited the archaeological museum which was like a labyrinth inside, full of interesting local findings. It was lovely to revisit Elounda and we had free time to explore, have lunch etc before the boat trip to Spinalonga. I hadn't realised the tickets to go into the archaeological site weren't included, that was a bit of a disappointment, the guide did not take us on a tour once inside but it was fascinating. The steps up to the top of the Bastion were steep and narrow with no safety rail which made me nervous at 60 and solo but I still went up - coming down was unnerving so I came down on my behind, step by step! The 2 ladies toilets were not really enough for the number of visitors but were clean when I used them. The return boat trip was lovely with a 20 minute swimming opportunity half way back before the return coach journey. It was good value for money with a nice balance of activity and free time.

Agios Nikalaos and Spinalonga Day Trip - Book Your Trip Now! - Day trip to Agios Nikalaos and Spinalonga is a must for visitors to Heraklion and the surrounding areas. Manos was a terrific and smart tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the places that we visited. He also took special care that we knew when to be back to the bus for the next part of the trip. You get to see a lot of Lasithi on this trip. This part of Crete is extremely beautiful. The boat ride to Spinalonga Island was enjoyable with gorgeous scenery. Just about the right amount of time for each activity. Altino Travel Co. did a great job with all the travel arrangements. I highly recommend this tour.

Worth it for Spinalonga and Agios Nikolaos - Agios Nikolaos and Spinalonga were great. Elounda was not as impressive and I would have rather spent more time in the other two places. I don't remember if this is mentioned in the description, but the price for Spinalonga is not included, which is 20 euros per person. The bus ride is very long if you're getting picked up in Heraklion, as there are many stops in between.

Spinalonga and Agios N. - As already written in other reviews, if you are leaving from the Heraklion area, you must take into account at least two hours before arriving at Agios N., having to make numerous pick-ups along the way. Maybe in summer it would be better to visit the island of Spinalonga first, because in the early afternoon the heat can be quite high.

Not worth the money - You only have a guide on the bus, although very good and knowledgeable the guide leaves ou at Agious Nikolaos and at Spinalonga, so your left in your own to wonder around both stops. Which i found a bit of a let down!!! You have to pay an additional €20 to get in to Spinalonga and you dont have a guide with you. Very disappointing

Day trip - This was booked with orange travel in Malia Crete , I would not recommend this trip booking it through this travel agents, especially if your 1st language is English we are an Irish couple the only ones from Ireland on the tour our guide spoke French and German and English but when she was explaining the itinerary in other languages the people had no respect for the woman to be heard when she was explaining the itinerary in English, we ended up not knowing how long we had at each stop , there was no information on plaques around the leper colony , and when we got back from the colony the restaurant that had our lunch food was like a chip and meat kabab no preferences was given it didn't smell very apptising and it was raw it was just given to you with a small bottle of water, like a convayer belt , in total it was €130 and we were none the wiser , we were lucky to get a seat on the boat and on the way back from the olive factory demonstration we were moved on to the other bus to go to our hotel then got shouted at by a man that we were in his seats the tour guide told us to stay but he wanted his seat that had nothing on it and all he had to for was sit behind us but no he was annoyed and spoke in another language as he was from another country, we were going to book an jeep Safari after our trip but will book it elsewhere as I do Not recommend this company for anything they didn't want to know about our experience
