The tour was very well... - The tour was very well organized, with a professional guide. It covers the main attractions of the island. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Excellent informative tour - Loved this tour - our guide was excellent. Very informative, speaking Spanish, German and English along the way. At times, high up in the mountains, the roads were pretty scary. It had been raining too. The towns and viewing stops were stunning and enough time was given for a wander and cup of coffee. The lunch stopover wasn’t great, but okay and very good value. I would certainly recommend this tour if you are looking to visit some highlights of Gran Canaria and learn about the islands history.

It was a full day... - It was a full day exploring the mountains and visited a Cave home, one town Teror for 30 mins and another town for a toilet break of 15 mins. The guide spoke both German and English throughout as mixed group. We were taken to a place to eat a set lunch for €15 which wasn’t what we expected as was told we were going to have 2 hours to enjoy lunch - we expected to be able to choose somewhere nice to eat. The set lunch wasn’t very nice. I think we were two small groups English and German that was put together to make viable. The guide was very knowledgeable and the driving skills of the coach driver were tremendous as the roads were very narrow and in some cases very high up. We saw a lot and glad we did it but would recommend to leave people in Teror for longer to see the town and ditch the set meal as wasn’t at all nice.

Day tour Gran Canaria - The advertisements for this tour leads one to believe that the transportation is by minibus whereas we were taken by coach which limits the views somewhat. Guide and driver were both good.

Ruined by aloe "farm" - Most of the fond memories were ruined by the last stop at aloe "farm" dusgusting to drop tourists off at a store and disguise it as part of sightseeing, only to have quacks lie to you about the panacea of the aloe plant and peddle their insanely overpriced products. Utterly exploitative. I can only imagine the store pays the tour company for this tourist trap. Apart from that the trip was great. Great views, amazing guide, such a memorable experience. Without the aloe "farm" it would have been 5 stars.

Very bad experience - On the plus side, we saw a lot of the countryside and the inner parts of the island which we wouldn't have seen otherwise. We saw Terror, which is a great and awesome city. Wish we would've stayed longer there, so there would've been some actual time to explore the city. However ... the whole rest of the day felt like some form of tourist trap/promotion event. It was very bad, especially given we already paid a lot for the day. First stop at some cave-houses... 'Coincidently' the guide knew some "friends" that had cheap cafe for us there. Of course we didn't have to buy, we could also just wait at the bus stop. Most stops were kind of like this. Lunch. A (terrible!) restaurant in the middle of nowhere. We have to choose: We can eat in this restaurant (lunch has to be paid extra!) or have no lunch at all, because there is absolutely nothing else in this area. Thus, we were kind of forced to eat there if we didnt want to starve. Next stop, top of the mountain. Beautiful view, guide again knew some friends who wanted to sell souvenirs to us for good price (at least he claimed that). Next stop, a bar for refreshments. Tour guide promotes this "delicious" smoothie that has been extra prepared for us. Of course, has to be paid extra. We can also choose to not buy it and just wait. Next stop, the aloe farm. About half an hour they showed us how the plant is harvested and told us stories about its healing powers. Followed by enough freetime to go through their massively overpriced shop. Here in Thailand you find the same articles for like 1/5 of the price, without those aggressive advertisment. Hope I could give some impressions. The whole day felt like we care driven from one shop/vendor to another one. One of the worst tours I ever had. Sorry to say, but the whole day felt like mass tourism and very fishy, where they try to rip off some extra dollars from tourists. We did not like it at all. There is lots of room for improvment
