Fantastic - Such a beautiful island will remain in my memory forever. Vanna our guide for the day was fabulous and our driver amazing coping with some treacherous bends in the road. A wonderful day.

Excellent day - Very good. Saw a lot of the island with very informative guide. Some splendid views especially from the monastery. Could have done without the ice cream stop at Stavros.

A lovely way to explore Ithaca - Having visited Kefalonia quite a few times, we were interested to explore Ithaca.
Originally we were contemplating a boat cruise around the island but I am very glad we decided to go on this guided inland tour.
I’m not usually a great fan of bus tours, but this was a pretty small coach. The legendary Vanna, our guide, was first class! She was funny, kind, enthusiastic and very informative. She chatted away as we travelled and was very amusing as well as knowledgeable. Vangelis the driver was superb. Despite very many challenging hair pin bends and mountain ascents, he was calm, smooth, slow and measured in his driving and it was very soothing.
We visited the main towns where we stopped for coffee and lunch and also the monastery almost at the highest point of the island, with breathtaking views.
It was a very relaxing day out, from the ferry rides there and back from Sami and everything in between.
A lovely and very easy way to explore the beautiful island of Ithaca.

A day trip to Ithaca from Sami in kefalonia - What a brilliant day trip with this company. Book it 3weeks before I came to kefalonia.they were a very good price.picked up from hotel,ferry across to island,plenty of stops on way to see places and plenty of time to se them.we’re weren’t rushed.beautiful sights and views they showed us.the lady who was our guide (vanna) she was amazing and very knowledgable.1 of the places we stopped for lunch was stunning.
If you see this company book the trip,you won’t be disappointed.

To repeat - To say we were in a hurry and in this agency we found just what we wanted.
The girl who attended us was very friendly and friendly and explained the excursion in detail.
The visit to Ithaca was wonderful, coach, ferry, boat with bath in a cove and food in Kioni... fantastic!!
The driver and guide were friendly and helpful.
Yes it is true that Stavros is overrated and would prefer one more bath in another cove, but overall, we enjoyed like dwarfs!

Great value tour - recommend this company! - A great introduction to the island of Odysseus. Vanna, our guide, was very informative and passionate about her island and it's hero, exciting all the tales as George guided us through the twisty bends. Amazing scenery, even more dramatic than Kefalonia. Kioni was lovely but would have liked a bit less time there and more at Stavros. There are a couple of small Homeric museums worth seeing that were overlooked. All considered, another great tour from Avgerinos. I found you can book direct from their website and save a few Euros!

What a Fantastic Day out in Ithaca - We picked up early from Lassi at 7am prompt and we were greeted by Vanna our guide and Georgio our amazing driving. From the start we new we had picked the best trip to go with. We were welcomed straight away by both our guides and popped straight into our seats and our tour started with information delivered with excellent local knowledge but mostly humour too by passionate Vanna's enthusiasm as we went on our way to the ferry boat in Sami. Our cruise over to Ithaca was smooth and the ferry boat had fab coffee and excellent toilet facilities on board !!! Vanna and and Georgio were on hand answering our questions from everyone, as soon as we arrived on the island and the proper tour started OMG tight vertical turns almost, executed beautifully by an excellent driver clearly with lots of experience and along with Vanna's tales of the mystical island it's history and it's beauty we were taken back in time what a fab experience and a great day out I would recommend Avgerinos Tours definitely especially as the other tour operators held Vanna and Georgio in such high esteemed.

A splendid Sunday discovering Ithaca - Just a stone's throw from our apartment in Lassi there was an agency office so, together with a couple of friends we met on the island, we booked an excursion to Ithaca. A minibus picked us up from our apartment at 7am and transferred us to Sami, where we boarded the ferry. Once we arrived in Ithaca, we got on another bus that took us to discover the island.... absolutely wonderful!!! We really had a beautiful day. Congratulations to the guide, the impeccable organization, the drivers... 😃

The nicest way to discover itaca. - Discovering itaca with Vanna was an absolute pleasure. The whole excursion was very well organised and Vanna gave us lots of details about the island, the history and much more.
It's a lovely alternative to a boat tour and an occasion to explore the island itself from inside.
Vanna is a professional, friendly and unique guide.
Absolutely recommended.
