People come here to play sports, admire the sea and/or have a drink in one of the cafés that line the promenade. The view of the Casbah of Agadir – and the inscription “God, the Fatherland, the King” on the mountain – is also one of the highlights of the cornice.

• Agadir Kasbah - The Casbah – also known as Agadir Oufella – is a majestic site with a fascinating history. Built in 1572 by the Moroccan king Moulay Abdallah el-Ghalib, this fortified city was intended to protect the inhabitants against possible Portuguese invasions.

The carved wooden doors, the work of the mosaics and its majestic size make it one of the most beautiful mosques in the region.

We’ll start our tour by cruising along the beach promenade of Agadir, before heading up to Agadir Oufela (Agadir hill), known for its sweeping city views. We’ll also explore the argan oil house, where you can gain unique insights into the production of this rare oil often referred to as the ‘golden liquid’ in Europe. Learn about the painstaking process involved in gathering and drying nuts, roasting and grinding the grains, and ultimately extracting the pure oil.
