Addis Ababa - Arba Minch
Addis Ababa - On the first day of the Omo Valley tour, travelers will take a flight from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch. Upon arrival, a driver will meet them at the airport and transfer them to their hotel. After a brief rest, they will drive to Dorze. The Dorze people are renowned for their tall, beehive-shaped houses and exquisite cotton weaving. Visitors will explore the village and gain insight into the daily lives of these hardworking people. If it coincides with a market day, the local market in Dorze village will also be visited. Overnight accommodations will be in a traditional hut in Dorze or a hotel in Arba Minch.
Arba Minch - Konso - Turmi
Konso Cultural Centre - On the second day, the tour continues with an early morning start. After breakfast, the journey proceeds to Konso for lunch and a short break before visiting Konso Village. In the village, one of the nine UNESCO-registered sites will be explored. The Konso people are famous for erecting stones and poles, known as generation poles, which represent 18 years and mark the beginning of a new generation. The village’s age can be determined by the number of poles present. The day concludes with a drive to Turmi for an overnight stay at Turmi Lodge.

Turmi - Dessenach Tribe
Jinka - On this day, after an early breakfast, the tour heads to the Dessanch tribe. The Karo people, known for their meticulous attention to appearance, engage in extraordinary body and face painting rituals using colored ochre, white chalk, yellow mineral rock, and other natural resources. Their designs range from simple lines, dots, and shapes to animal motifs and handprints. Men craft elaborate hairstyles and headdresses from clay, symbolizing status, beauty, and bravery. Scarification is also common among both men and women for its symbolic and aesthetic significance. Afterward, the group returns to Turmi for lunch and, if it is a market day, visits the local market. Overnight accommodations are in Jinka at NASA Hotel.
Jinka - Mago National Park - Mursi
Mursi & Mago National Park - On the final day, the tour departs early from Turmi to Jinka, passing through Mago National Park to visit a local village of the Mursi tribe. The Mursi are known for their distinctive lower lip and earlobe plates. After the visit, the group returns to Jinka for lunch and then flies back to Addis Ababa. This marks the end of the tour!
