A Gold Star Tour of the Gold Coast - All I can do is add my voice to previous reviews praising this tour and Eben….It was an incredible experience to learn and see more about the history and culture the Gold Coast. Notwithstanding the dark nature of events that having taken place, the history and spirit of the people here are incredible and it was a real privilege to visit and pay our respect. Thank you so much to Expedition Go Tours and Eben who put together and delivered the most exceptional tour…. I could not recommend their services more highly if you are looking to experience more of the history and culture of Ghana in a warm, informative and engaging manner.

Easy and informative tour of two historical slave castles - Streamlined and highly informative tour - Thompson was a great guide and we managed to get through everything on the itinerary and still made it back in time for dinner (albeit a late one). Highly recommend.

Cape Coast day tour from Ghana - Eben was a wonderful guide, full of great information, very courteous, very knowledgeable and was very flexible. He looked after me, made sure I was safe and was very patient. As I am an older lady he made sure he was at hand for negotiating the steps and any difficult areas of the hike which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this tour .

Cape Coast day tour - Such a powerful and insightful tour. It was amazing catching up with my roots in Cape Coast, going for the canopy walk at Kakum, going for lovely food and learning more about the wonderful country that is Ghana. Eben, our tour guide, was insightful, knowledgeable and kind.

A must-do, once-in-a-lifetime experience! - This is a once in a lifetime experience. Eben, our guide, was amazing and very informative. The suspended faith walk over the kakum canopy bridge was a great start, followed by the humbling experiences of the the Elmina and Cape Coast slave dungeons. We had an amazing lunch on the beach. Well worth the 3+ hour one way drive over primarily unsaved terrain. The bus was air-conditioned with WIFI. I highly recommend this tour with this company!

A Day Tour like no other. Wonderful and touching. - Absolutely loved this tour. From beginning to end it was sensational. Just a real treat. If you are in Ghana and have the time everyone should go on this Cape Coast Day Tour. It is well worth the money and the time. The tour guide, Moses, was incredibly knowledgeable. He informed and dropped historical facts about Ghana that I truly appreciated. What a great day. Began with an early morning pick up and a long drive to Cape Coast. Nothing we can do about that. Stopped and had breakfast about ninety minutes out of Accra. Great little sport in Amun something or other. After breakfast made our way to Kakum National Park for the first adventure. Got to hike and climb and experience the canopy walkways. Fun. Learned about the various trees in the park. Really enjoyed the experience. Had lunch on the ocean. Loved that. After went to the two castles still in existence that were heavily involved in the slave trafficking from Portugal, Denmark, and Britain. The experience is life changing. What you see in books or movies does not do justice to the stark and cold reality of the inhumanity of the men charged with gathering and shipping slaves off to the Caribbean and the United States. Until you see the cramped cells and walk on the hard floors that were covered in the feces and excrement of the men and women who were sold into slavery you have no reference point. It was visceral and gut wrenching. Such a ghoulish and heart rending thing but so thankful to have been able to see it for my own eyes. Thank you Expedition-Go-Tours for a wonderful and touching adventure.
