A must see - It was a very long way but our driver was very safe. We appreciate him and wish we could have communicated. For our style of tour, we prefer to do the research and education before the trip and use all of our precious time actually experiencing the tombs, rather than trying to understand a tour guide while he flips through a folder of pictures outside in the hot sun. We would rather use this time to take picture and video and read before and later.

Experience as no other - Abu Simbel is definitely amazing! You can't come to Egypt and not go see this wonder, it was declared a world heritage site for a reason. We took the option to go at 4am to arrive at 8am to see it without too much people. Mina and Amir where extremely kind and took the effort to arrive as early as possible and surpassed multiple tourist buses. We saw the sunrise in the dessert as well. Once we were at Abu Simbel we were taken to our guide who told us the history of the place and different meanings of some hieroglyphics inside Ramses II temple. We then had some time to take pictures from inside and outside, which was amazing! Specially as there weren't as many people as we were expecting. After that it was time to see Nefertari's Temple which we were suppose to have our guide again who would give another explanation, but this didn't happened as we the guy disappeared. We looked for him around 15min and no luck, we decided to go inside the Temple as we needed to be back at the car Park at 10 am. After taking multiple pictures of Nefertari's temple we continue looking for our guide for another 20 min and we couldn't find him. Mina and Amir apologized multiple times and they were kind enough to give us a compensation for this. We cannot complain with the result! Overall, apart from the guide, 5 of 5 stars thanks to Mina and Amir.

Majestic temples with a unique history! - Some of the most majestic temples on the banks of the Nile, at the southernmost point of Egypt - Abu Simbel. Previously he had come to Abu Simbel, this time again he wanted to go to the temples of Ramses II and his first and beloved wife Nefertari. The long and unique history of the temples, from their construction to their transfer to a new location to save them, is impressive. They need to be seen with their own eyes, the photos do not convey all the beauty and grandeur of the temples. For the trip they chose an individual (private) tour by minivan, for greater comfort on the way. The organization was at the highest level, which is very important for an unforgettable experience! We were accompanied by Amir, told a lot of things I didn't know about before. It was very interesting, a lot new. Not boring, constantly joking and laughing )) The driver is a professional. Thank you very much to the organizers for your trip and unforgettable experience! Amir special thanks!

highly recommended - The trip to Abu Simbel organized by Get Egypt Vacation was an exceptional experience. The two massive rock-cut temples built by Pharaoh Ramses II are stunning in their size and grandeur. The 3-hour drive from Aswan was comfortable, and the local guide provided great historical context upon arrival. Visitors had plenty of time to explore both the great temple of Ramses II and the smaller temple of Nefertari, where they were amazed by the sheer size of the well-preserved statues, carvings, and paintings. The logistics of the tour were smooth, and the guide was excellent. Overall, this day tour to Abu Simbel is highly recommended for anyone visiting southern Egypt, as it allows them to experience one of the country’s most famous ancient monuments.

It was a great trip to Abu Simbel! - We asked for a transfer to Abu Simbel. I had thought about taking a shared bus, but it turned out to be a very comfortable trip and I am very satisfied. On the way back, I was guided to Nubian Village, and it was a very fulfilling day! I’m glad you asked!
