Abu Sinbel Private Tour - The tour of the Abu Simbel temples was a truly unforgettable experience. We left very early, as the trip from Aswan involves about 280 km of road, but every moment was worth it. The temples are absolutely stunning, full of history and cultural richness. Our driver was extremely polite, friendly, and always demonstrated great confidence while driving. Along the way, he looked after us attentively and shared interesting information about the places we were passing through. We also took a pleasant break for coffee in the middle of the Sahara Desert, which made the trip even more special. Upon arriving in Abu Simbel, we were greeted by an equally excellent local guide — very friendly and with a deep knowledge of the history of the temples, which further enriched the visit. Our sincere thanks to both of them for providing us with such a memorable day.

Perfect - From the moment he picked us up at the airport, Omar took care of every detail and made sure everything was perfect. We left for Abi Simbel at 4:30 am in the morning and the view of the sunrise in the desert was a beautiful experience. After the professional tour and all the information, we had more than enough time to see everything and take pictures. We definitely recommend Omar.

Long day worth every footage - Punctual, communication was smooth and clear, and attention to detail was evident from start to finish. The tour began with a long drive of 3+ hours, but the combination of the magnificent sunrise and landscape made the early wake-up call worthwhile. The only service station along the highway was about 1-1.5 hr into the highway, and there are colorful cute decorations and decent restrooms. Don't worry about boredom – Omar, the best guide in Aswan, gave me a running commentary on every small thing I saw along the way, including nature, modern farming systems, traffic conditions, and local security. It was a truly comfortable ride throughout. Entering the Abu Simbel area requires all visitors to submit a copy of their passport. We passed through several checkpoints. Security in southern Egypt is quite tight, probably safer than New York or Tokyo… Upon arrival, Of course, there was a lecture on Ramses II, from basic information to detailed additional facts. I learned why he is considered one of the greatest figures in Egyptian history, even more so than the widely worshipped Tutankhamun and Cleopatra, and learned about his private life and personality. And about modern discoveries, such as the correlation with the Nile River's water level and the amazing story of how and why the temples were relocated. Numerous traces remain, making it incredibly interesting. There was plenty of time for taking photos, breaks, and wandering around, providing a good balance of freedom. Solo travelers will appreciate the personal space. Lake Nasser was unexpectedly beautiful, and apparently, there are no crocodiles. This first World Heritage site is a must-see for anyone who loves history and cultural heritage. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended. Thank you for a wonderful 2 days stay in Aswan and your warm hospitality. Omar was such a nice guy, and the driver, Mr. Happy, was also a very pleasant sidekick.
