They epitomize the splendor of the New Kingdom era. To avert their inundation, the Egyptian authorities and UNESCO collaborated on a rescue mission. The Temple of Ramses II is consecrated to the quartet of deities Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramses II himself. This grand temple is also known as Ramses II’s Sun Temple. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is referred to as the Temple of Hathor, who was the consort of the Sun Deity. Thus, the pair of temples, one of Ramses II and the other of Nefertari, symbolically unite Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun Deity.

Abdol was the highlight of the tour - Our guide Abdol was knowledgeable and charming. His storytelling brought the Abu Simbel temples to life, and he made sure we didn’t miss any details. Truly unforgettable.

An incredible adventure in Abu Simbel - Our excursion to Abu Simbel was perfect. Thanks to Abdol, our passionate and competent guide, every detail of the temples was fascinating. The modern bus ride was very pleasant, and the desert landscape added a unique charm. Seeing the temples by Lake Nasser was a magical experience that I recommend to all.

A unique adventure in Abu Simbel - The trip to Abu Simbel was just amazing! With a modern and comfortable air-conditioned bus, we reached the magnificent temples carved in the rocks. The Mervat guide was excellent. He passionately explained the rich history of ancient Egypt and made the experience even more memorable. An experience that will remain engraved in our memory forever!

The wonderful experience of Abu Simbel day trip - What an unforgettable adventure this trip was! We rode in comfortable air-conditioned buses through the beautiful landscape to Abu Simbel's rock-carved temple. The guide, Mr. Hany, was very professional and he told us many interesting stories about Egyptian history and culture in fluent Chinese. These temples are particularly spectacular on the shores of Lake Nasser and the whole experience is highly recommended!

An Early Morning Journey to Abu Simbel - The trip to Abu Simbel was an incredible experience! The drive was long but comfortable, and once we arrived, the temples were beyond breathtaking. Carved into the rock and overlooking Lake Nasser, it felt like stepping back into ancient Egypt.

An Incredible Visit to Abu Simbel's Rock Temples - This day trip to Abu Simbel was truly incredible .
We started early in the morning , leaving Aswan in a modern air-conditioned coach .
The drive was about three and a half hours , but the comfort of the coach made it pleasant .
When we arrived , the sight of the rock-carved temples took our breath away .
The temples are massive and beautifully carved , sitting by the peaceful waters of Lake Nasser .
Our guide gave us a detailed history of the temples , explaining their importance and the efforts taken to relocate them .
We spent a few hours exploring the temples and taking in their beauty .
The drive back to Aswan was relaxing , giving us time to reflect on the amazing sights we had seen .

Exploring the Majestic Temples of Abu Simbel - This day trip to Abu Simbel was one of the highlights of our visit to Egypt .
We departed from Aswan early in the morning , traveling in a comfortable air-conditioned coach .
The three-and-a-half-hour journey was smooth , and we enjoyed the views of the desert landscape .
Arriving at Abu Simbel , we were blown away by the sheer size of the two temples carved into the rock .
The temples are not only impressive in size but also in their detailed carvings and historical significance .
Our guide shared many interesting stories about the temples and their relocation to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser .
After a few hours of exploring , we headed back to Aswan .
This trip was well worth the early start , and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt .

worthwhile going on - it was a good trip, it was informative and interesting. Abu Simbel is a fantastic temple and so is Nefertari's temple.
