Sheikh Zayed’s vision for the Grand Mosque was to incorporate architectural styles from different Muslim civilizations and celebrate cultural diversity by creating a haven that is truly diverse and inspirational in its foundation. The mosque’s architects were British, Italian and Emirati, and design inspiration was borrowed parts of Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, and Egypt among other Islamic countries, revealing a glistening architectural marvel with an astonishing capacity of 40,000 worshippers and visitors.
The open-door policy invites tourists and celebrants from all around the world who can witness the spectacular onion-top domes, the reflective pools that engulf the courtyard and the iconic prayer hall, which not only overflows with blissful sunlight but also houses the world’s biggest chandelier and carpet, both meticulously handmade. Be sure to spot the calligraphy encircling the hollows of the domes, etched with verses from the Quran and painted with gold leaves in An-Naskh lettering.

Great person and ready for any problem - A wonderful day with a great guy in Adu Dhabi
Started off with a prompt pick up in spacious car.Only issue that would benefit rear guests is intercom system
First visit was Date Market ( yes we tried and Purchased some)
Next the Heritage village followed by Emirates Palace hotel
The highlight was the trip to Sheikh Sayad Grand Mosque worth a good two hours ( you must visit)
Returned to dockside and the incident happened
Rahim left and Sue discovered phone missing
Contact Rshim and he found it
But he was on another tour
So he dropped new guests at Date tasting and returned phone to us
Thank you Rahim

Best Half-day tour ever!!! - Wholesome tour for those who want to quickly explore the beautiful city of Abu Dhabi. The guide was very polite and patient throughout and is a good photographer too. Worth every penny and above all, saves you time!

Thanks to our good tour guide - We had the pleasure to have Mr Ansar as our tour guide when we were in Abu Dhabi. Ansar was knowledgeable giving us plenty of background info broadening our horizon. Ansar was helpful. Although we four were seniors, he was patient and careful helping us at every stop during the tour. Mr Ansar reinforced our impression of Abu Dhabi: the place is nice and the people are nice. We wish him well in his career.

Great value private tout - Janis was a great guide and looked after us well
Only four of us
Picking us up from the cruise port and first taking us to the Mosque
The car was air conditioned thankfully as it was so hot outside
Took lots of photos for us and sent them onto us after the tour
Definitely worth doing

The tour was amazing!... - The tour was amazing! Junais was our tour guide, and he was above our expectation! He explained all the history of each sites in detail, and he took a lot of pictures in every photo spots very carefully, and all the photos came out to be great!

Half day in Abu Dhabi. - Junais knew where to take us first to avoid the crowds which was great. We saw so much in our half day excursion. He is also great at taking pictures. He was a pleasure to be with!!

Awesome experience - Booked this trip through Tripadvisor, the half day Trip was awesome. Driver was awesome and he drove us to all the attractions as mentioned. He was patient with us as we were late 😀😊

Splendid Abu Dhabi - Our tour guide was Junais he was polite,punctual and knowledgeable about the tour attractions we visited and friendly and courtesy we enjoyed it tremendously. Also he was our personal photographer which he seems to enjoy he takes great pictures. His vehicle was clean , comfortable and air conditioned. Thank you Junais for a memorable experience.
