Sheikh Zayed’s vision for the Grand Mosque was to incorporate architectural styles from different Muslim civilizations and celebrate cultural diversity by creating a haven that is truly diverse and inspirational in its foundation. The mosque’s architects were British, Italian and Emirati, and design inspiration was borrowed parts of Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, and Egypt among other Islamic countries, revealing a glistening architectural marvel with an astonishing capacity of 40,000 worshippers and visitors.
The open-door policy invites tourists and celebrants from all around the world who can witness the spectacular onion-top domes, the reflective pools that engulf the courtyard and the iconic prayer hall, which not only overflows with blissful sunlight but also houses the world’s biggest chandelier and carpet, both meticulously handmade. Be sure to spot the calligraphy encircling the hollows of the domes, etched with verses from the Quran and painted with gold leaves in An-Naskh lettering.

An interesting and good value way to see the must see sights in a half day tour. - An enjoyable half day tour taking in some of the must see sights in Abu Dhabi - we are just here for a couple of nights in transit to Australia but wanted to see a little of AD and this seemed a good value way of doing so. We had a really nice guide - CP - who gave us a lot of interesting details about AD and its history - pointing out many landmarks and filling in some background on life in AD and the Emirates.

Great way to explore the city and main attractions in Abu Dhabi - For my layover in Abu Dhabi this excursion was the perfect way for me to see and explore the main attractions in Abu Dhabi in a short time period. Awesome trip.. - The half day tour was really nice. The driver Shafi was prompt, very friendly and cooperative. He explained every details and really helped with taking photos. I really recommend this tour with Shafi.

Knowledgeable trip - Driver arrived early in a beautifully, clean car. We headed to the listed attractions where tye driver had the knowledge and information on each place.
I didn’t have the right dress for the mosque but the driver had a spare I borrowed which saved the day.
We lastly visited the date markets where purchased chocolate, dates and coffee.
Our driver took amazing pictures of us through the morning, infact it was like having our own photo shoot.

Perfect Abu Dhabi Tour in Just 4 Hours with Ansar - I had an amazing experience exploring Abu Dhabi with our tour guide, Ansar. In just 4 hours, he managed to take me to all the major attractions—including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace, Heritage Village, and more. His planning was impeccable, making the most of our limited time without ever feeling rushed.
Ansar was not only knowledgeable and professional but also extremely helpful—always offering to take great photos and suggesting the best spots for pictures. One of the highlights was his help in buying local dates at discounted rates from a trusted shop—something I wouldn't have found on my own.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized, friendly, and genuinely helpful guide in Abu Dhabi!

Excellent Tour Bring plenty of water. - The best part of this tour is visiting the grand Mosque , this was an amazing place. We also visited the Dates Market and Heritage Village. The tour was really worth the money.

A good way to see Abu Dhabi - My driver was very helpful although his comments on what we saw could have been more extensive. The Heritage village needs updating. A visit to the Louvre cultural precinct might have been more informative. Detailed advance notice about dress codes at the mosque are needed.

Worst experience ever - Don’t waste your money the guide was useless no conversation in fact we asked him to take us back to the hotel as it was so uncomfortable. I’ve been on a lot of visitor experiences and this was by far the worst only information he gave us was and that is the military hospital as we drove past !!!
