Highlights
  • Corgarff - The Watchers Art Installation and A Moment in Time

Four specially commissioned sculptural seats by John Kennedy on the infamous Lecht Road which sits at 637m above sea level offers spectacular views towards Corgarff Castle. The Watchers adds some new but similar formed cowels clustered on the hillside close to the existing standing stone. These contain seating and provide hooded shelters for individuals in a wind and snow-swept environment.

The Watchers installation has a significant relationship with the Castle, which was already established by the existing standing stone sculpture ‘A Moment in Time’ by Louise Gardiner which was designed to frame telescopic views of the Castle.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ... - HIGHLY RECOMMEND We took the Taste of Scotland and the Highlands and Inverness tours with Jamie. Both tours were great. Jamie was a wonderful guide. He did absolutely everything in his power to make sure that we had the best experience. He responded to all of our special requests and made additional stops to show us things not listed in the itinerary. Snacks and drinks he provided were a nice touch. He also gave us some recommendations for dinner and dolphin viewing in Aberdeen that all turned out so great! We would love to take additional tours with this company. THANK YOU, JAMIE!

Amazing Tour - Jacqueline - THANK YOU for the amazing tour. My first visit to Scotland was in 2019 and now in 2023 you made my second visit more memorable for being able to see the beauty of the northern side of scotland visiting Highlands, Inverness and Loch Ness.

Hidden gem - The trip is great, very well timed and Jacqueline is a pleasant and caring guide as well as an excellent driver. The vehicle she used for my tour was snall, but perfect for our group. Families or group of friends shoup definitely book this tour as they will end up having a private tour, which is amazing. Unfortunately Jacqueline could not give us the tales and history of Scotland since she did not have much of a voice today. Nevertheless, she did not cancel the tour and gave us explanations about all our stops and did it graciously. Jacqueline is extremely professional and we can see that the itinerary has been carefully chosen. Thank you so much.😊

Please see above - I was scheduled to take the Scottish highlands tour with my father. The day before the tour he developed a cough, sore throat and some congestion. Out of courtesy and caution to other tour members we decided not to go on the tour and reached out to the company the day before. We were flatly told that company policy was “no refunds for cancellations within 24 hours”. I understand the need for a policy but it would seem this would discourage sick customers from doing the responsible thing and cancel and encourages customers to “go anyway” and possibly expose other customers to illness(most notably Covid in these times)
