Egypt Trip - We booked this tour and Hala was our tour guide. She was wonderful. We started at the Khan el Khalili in the morning for shopping before it got busy, then we went to the Mosque, the Citadel, and had lunch which was great. Went to a papyrus shop and jewelry shop. Hala took pictures with us and of us with beautiful backgrounds. We did miss the Egyptian Museum which closes at 430pm because we ran into heavy traffic. Hala did make it up to us and added a boat ride. Had a great experience starting from hotel pick-up up until hotel drop-off. Thank You Hala and Mohammed, our driver.

Best day in Cairo - Excellent experience! We went to all the places indicated in the tour and with an extraordinary accompaniment of our guide Mahmoud Niazy, always very friendly, with a lot of knowledge of the culture and history and taking us to the best local sites!! Important to mention the driver Yasser salah, who made us feel safe along the way. 100% recommended this tour!!

Must see places of Cairo - Overall a good experience to explore the Citadel, Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and the main market. The museum is a must between the 3 museums in Cairo and the experience of seeing the Treasures of Tutankhamun is amazing. His Mask, 2 coffins (inner coffin made of Gold of 110 kg, and outer coffin which was gilded), Throne are truly special. Also amazing are the 2 mummies of his grandparents and are very well preserved - you can see their faces, hair and even nails in tact. Remember the Mummy of Tutankhamun is not here but in Luxor.

Informative and fun - My guide was knowledgeable about the artifacts in the museum and Egyptian history. She answered all my questions and made sure I had a pleasant experience throughout the day, taking pictures and making jokes. The driver drop off and pick up was easy, and ticket entry was frictionless. Read ahead on the bazaar and have some idea what you want to shop for or do there. I enjoyed that part of the tour less than I probably could have because I felt we were just wandering aimlessly and the shopping/haggling was not fun since I didn't know what would be a fair price on the items I bought. But it is very cool there and worth seeing.

It was okay - Overall trip was cool BUT a few things I didn’t like- driver didn’t hold a sign in the hotel lobby like the instructions said they would, instead he waited outside but we didn’t know that. He walked inside and saw my partner and I all ready for the trip but didn’t say anything. Just walked to the reception desk, spoke to the hotel reception man and walked back out. We contacted them on WhatsApp and he was there the whole time. Said we had to tip later him for waiting that long for us. Driver was very pushy with the tips. We tipped out of being pressured, not out of gratitude. They took us to the ‘oil factory’ which lured us into making us buy perfume/ oils which is a minimum of $40USD. I tried telling the man no thank you but he didn’t take no for an answer. They also took us to the papyrus institute, was cool to learn about papyrus but they also tried to make us buy their items. Felt very uncomfortable in both places. These two options were NOT on the itinerary. As for the guide, he was a very lovely man. Very funny and outgoing man. Knowledgeable but hard to understand most of the time in English.

Okayish tour with some discomfort - Rana was my tour guide, she explained things well and gave me time to explore the museum and Citadel. But she rushed me at the Khan khalili market as i was trying to do some shopping. Also she was kind of complaining the driver about why i delayed at the market and he was smiling. Also when we went to lunch, i asked her if there were any Indian or Chinese restaurants, then she said no and she smiled looking at her driver, so he smiled too. The driver was passing comments when asked to turn on AC or increase AC. All this was unpleasant and unprofessional. Though we don't understand the language, we can understand the context and gestures. They need proper training on how to behave. Even after all this, i tipped them. Apart from these things, tour was decent.

Great day with guide, Driver not punctual - We booked the VIP tour. The tour was very knowledgeable and friendly and offered to buy us sugar cane juice. Not very expensive but it was a nice gesture. He was also always happy to help take any pictures. We took our time a bit in the museum because there was so much to see and never felt rushed by the guide. He explained all of the highlights. 4/5 However, we were ready at our hotel and ended up waiting for an hour for the driver. The tour company claimed that the driver hit traffic, however, the guide ended up informing us that the driver had actually had a late night and woke up late. 2/5

No point in getting a guide who doesn’t know anything - Our guide, a woman (Iman? Didn’t get her name properly) who brought her younger sister along, had basically no knowledge about the artifacts at the museums, she also did not explain anything about the citadel or the mosque we visited. Our guide did not speak English well, it was such a bad tour in terms of learning anything about the culture and history of country. I would not recommend this tour, there was no point in spending money for a guide who wasn’t able to tell us anything. The driver on the other hand was pretty good.
