Family adventure - This trip is definitely a once in a lifetime trip! Yoel and Gilbert were excellent guides! Both were so informative, attentive and friendly. I was one of the slower paced hikers and I felt very supported and cared for. Once we reached Machu Picchu, Yoel was a very knowledgeable guide. Gilbert went ahead with those in our group that wanted to do the extra climb. If you want to visit Machu Picchu- this is definitely the way to experience it to the fullest!

Loved it! - This was the trip of a lifetime! LOVED our guides Abelardo and Sebastian! They were organized, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The whole staff literally served us all day long. The food was delicious, plentiful and made from scratch. We saw many ruins on the Inca trail, and were able to explore them to our hearts content. Often times with just our group. Our schedule gave us plenty of time to enjoy the journey. It was all so fascinating and beautiful. Learning about how the Inca people lived at these sites made our visit to Machu Picchu even more meaningful. Before you come: -Practice hiking up and down long steep inclines. It seemed like we were always either going up or down steps. -Consider purchasing patella tendon knee straps (wear on the downhill), electrolyte tablets, and a small anti-chaffing glide stick. -Bring extra ziplocks, toilet paper, battery pack (for phone photos), medications for the following: altitude, sleeping, nausea, motion sickness, heartburn, sore muscles, headache, and diarrhea. If you buy an extra ticket to climb up the mountain on your Machu Picchu day, understand that you will probably have to be able to hike it very quickly. It is straight up and down, and you are on a tight schedule. Many that buy tickets for Wayna Picchu on day #4 forgo using them. You’ll want to have plenty of small change everywhere you go for tipping, bathrooms, and treats. Arriving a couple days before your hike is a must for altitude acclimation and jet lag recovery. I highly recommend this professional locally owned company Trexperience for all your touring needs!!!
