Day1. Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha

Day1. Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha
Arusha - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our representatives will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Arusha. Settle into your accommodation, relax and get used to the African atmosphere ready to start your safari in the morning. This hotel stay includes bed and breakfasts since you will probably arrive late in the evening.

Day2. Transfer to Tarangire national park and afternoon game drive
Tarangire National Park - Today you’ll depart after breakfast to Tarangire National Park for an afternoon guided game drive. Since this is one of the lesser known parks in Tanzania, it still has an authentic safari atmosphere. The hilly landscape scattered with grand Baobab trees against the blue sky is breathtaking. Witness the world’s largest concentration of elephants. Herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen around the Tarangire River, drinking or enjoying a mud bath. Apart from elephants, Tarangire is a paradise for bird lovers. We will then have our lunch then keep on with game drives. Later, we’ll drive in the area around swamps where you can also see lions, leopards, cheetahs and even tree climbing pythons.

Day3. Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, we will head towards the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we’ll descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We’ll head to the central park area known as the Seronera area which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti species. We will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Day4. Full day game drive
Serengeti National Park - Today you’ll continue your safari inside Serengeti National Park. This was the most impressive place where nature documentaries were shot. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed. The annual wildebeest migration of more than a million wildebeest is probably Serengeti’s main draw. It is a true spectacle of nature and impressive to see millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles thunder across the endless plains of the Serengeti.
Then you will have the picnic lunch and keep on with the game drive. If you like to watch wildlife from another perspective, we recommend you go to on a balloon safari.

Day5. Transfer to Ngorongoro crater
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After breakfast, drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On this route, there will be a high chance of seeing a lot of wildlife. After arriving at the crater rim, you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. The views are amazing! This collapsed volcanic crater is a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colours of the landscapes and the wealth of the animals. The crater is home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa and is full of elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhinos. We will then have our picnic lunch then later, we will visit the Maasai Villages or visit the Elephant Caves and after that, we’ll drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day6. Lake Manyara National Park guided game drive and to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park - In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel to start your safari to Lake Manyara National Park. Established in 1960, the small Lake Manyara National Park is home to tree-climbing lions, elephants and large troops of baboons and monkeys. The park is dominated by the shallow, alkaline lake and boasts diverse habitats like grassy plains, escarpment and forest.
Later, drive back to Arusha.

Day7. Flight to Kigali and drive to Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park Rwanda - The journey from Arusha to Kigali and onward to Volcanoes National Park offers a seamless transition from Tanzania to Rwanda’s lush landscapes. Following a scenic flight, travelers touch down in Kigali, Rwanda’s vibrant capital city known for its clean streets and bustling markets. From there, a picturesque drive leads adventurers through rolling hills and verdant countryside to the majestic Volcanoes National Park. Along the way, anticipation builds as visitors prepare to embark on unforgettable gorilla trekking adventures amidst the mist-covered slopes of the Virunga Mountains.

Gorilla Trekking Experience
Volcanoes National Park - After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters, Kinigi for a briefing about the endangered mountain gorillas from the park warden. Along with your trekking gear, drinking water and packed lunch, the driver will drop you off at the starting point to trek the gorillas together with the ranger guides. This activity may take between 1-8 hours to search for the gorillas depending on their movement. However, meeting them is so rewarding and you will spend maximally 1 hour with them as you take studying them and taking pictures and videos. Retreat and return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and your overnight stay.

Transfer to Kigali City for the Airport Drop Off
Kigali - Have breakfast at leisure then embark on a 4-hour drive back to Kigali City with an en-route visit to Nyanza king’s palace and Rwanda national museum in Huye and Murambi genocide museum. Arrive in Kigali and also visit the craft shops and the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Have lunch and be transferred to the airport for your return flight to your next destination
