Best birthday ever! It’s going to be hard to beat this one having started it on Safari! - We cannot thank Geofrey enough for giving us the trip of a lifetime. He picked us up on my birthday in Arusha and we started our Safari. Making our way to Tarangire national park then to the Serengeti and finishing off Ngorongoro and lake manyara. From the moment he picked us up and every moment in between. He shared all about every possible animal or bird we came across. He knew all about them and could decipher the small differences between one breed to another. We are amazed at how good a driver he is and how well he navigated the crazy roads. Knowing which way to go and never getting lost. Especially with no street signs. We would have been lost on day one. We felt safe in Geofrey’s hands at all times. Geofrey is a very polite, kind man. We feel as though having spent so much time with him this week that we’ve gotten to know him well. He didn’t think his English was very good. It was better than good. We never had any trouble understanding him. He shared with us about his family and how got into being a guide for safaris. A job very well suited to him. Lion king adventures should count themselves lucky to have Geofrey as one of the Safari guides/driver’s. He managed to complete our Safari having found every animal we were hoping to see! Asante Geofrey, all the best to you and your family! We want to thank lion king adventures as well. We researched a few different companies. In the end we went with them for a few reasons. They were ever polite and quick to respond. They arranged every aspect of our trip and even helping us add on a couple days at the beginning to extend our stay and get accustomed to the time change. Highly recommend anyone coming from abroad to spend a couple days in Arusha before starting your safari. The other reason we went with them. They are a local company with their headquarters in Arusha. One of the camps we stayed at in the Serengeti is owned and operated by the company. We felt if there were any issues being local would be a benefit. Thank you again to all the staff we encountered. An Incredible Trip! - We had the most incredible time during our 7 day safari. lion king from start to finish made it so easy to plan and recommended beautiful lodges with the kindest staff. I travel for a living, so I ,of course, compare everything - especially to my safari in South Africa - and wow, they truly delivered. Our guide Yusuph was so kind and knowledgeable. He customized everything for us and made sure to get us the best views of wildlife with great lighting. We really enjoyed spending 7 days in his company - I highly recommend him! We saw all the big 5, and hundreds of other animals. I’ve never seen such large herds and Yusuph did everything in his power to help us see a great migration river crossing, and we did! It was amazing! I have very strict food habits and the chefs made sure I had plenty of food I could eat, making special orders for me. Just tell them what you want, and they will make it happen! I hope to come back for calving season next with Lion King!

Nice of a lifetime trip with an amazing guide - Trip was amazing. Our guide, Gilbert was so nice and accommodating. He went out of his way to make our trip amazing and he knows his stuff and where to find the great game. We saw everything and almost all of it right next to our car. Trip of a lifetime! We also felt Gilbert became a part of our family and we will miss him. Also, the lodges were very impressive and all of the hosts were such great people and really went above and beyond to make our trip amazing.

Day, one with Lion King adventures in Tanzania - We arrived on July 17 for our seven day luxury Safari followed by three days in Zanzibar. We scheduled the first day in Arusha to recover from the long travel day. We met with Simon at 9 AM on the morning of the 18th. He took us on an amazing city tour. I cannot rate Simon more highly for the way he managed the day for us. Really outstanding Guide. We’re now headed to the park with Haruma. Our experience so far in scheduling booking and arriving in country with lion king adventures has been nothing but outstanding. Pre-trip planning and execution with Pendo was absolutely perfect. I expect it will continue to be. More to come.

Amazing experience - Lion king Adventure has been very responsive to all our queries, starting from the Safari setup, through the effective safari run and closing. We have been experiencing a Safari trip without any trouble despite the multiple pitfalls you may expect. In addition, our guide/driver was absolutely outstanding both from his safe and professional driving skills but also from his knowledge of the animals and overall environment . Tanzania Safari with Liok King Adventures - The best experience! Our guide David was outstanding! He knew the best places to see all animals and the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania. We were able to see families of Elephants, Giraffe, Cheetahs next to our car and a Leopard in a tree. We were even lucky enough to see 2 black Rhino and a pride of Lions hunt a Zebra. David ensured we were always comfortable, safe and very well fed each day. I highly recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone considering a Tanzanian safari.

Seeking a once in a lifetime experience? Lion King will deliver. - My brother and I recently went on safari with Lion King Adventures. It was my brother’s dream trip and his first trip abroad. Everything about the tour was top-notch. The ease of finding a tour that fit what we were looking for (we wanted an extra day in Arusha to decompress after the long flights to Tanzania); working with Yusra and Florida in the main office to finalize our itinerary and make payments, plus getting all the info we needed to travel, e.g., visa, packing list, etc.; and the safari itself. There are so many people behind the scenes at L Salehe was our guide and he’s very professional and attentive. His knowledge and passion for what he does is evident. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro and he knew where to go and what animals to search for. When we were fortunate enough to see animals, we was considerate of them, giving them space but also positioning our vehicle so we could view them from a respectful position. He never tired of stopping for us to view the animals, even if it was the 10th time we’d seen them that day 😊 The hotels and lodges (African Tulip, Maramboi Tent Lodge, Acacia Farm Lodge, and Nyota Tent Camp) are incredible – facilities, food and staff. If I could change one thing about the safari, it would be to give myself a few more days so I could spend a free day just hanging out at the lodges and enjoying all they have to offer. For most people, such a trip is a once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend Lion King Adventures – they will exceed your expectations.

Perfect from start to finish - This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Booking the tour was extremely easy thanks to the office team, with a tailored detailed itinerary sent prior to confirmation. We were picked up at the airport upon arrival, and driven to our first hotel. We did this tour with another couple, arriving at different airports, and the team were still happy to make 2 trips to pick everyone up, at no extra charge. Each accomodation was clean, spacious, and had the friendliest staff, who would do anything to ensure their guests were happy and felt safe throughout their stay. We’ll be reviewing each of the accomodations separately, as they each offered unique experiences, but Lion King Adventures network of resorts and lodges is unrivalled. David was our guide for the tour. Not only is he an expert on the animals we were seeing, but he knew the history of the locations extremely well. He would go out of his way to help tailor the experience to our requests, and has a great ability to find the right areas for a great shot of the animals and scenery. Lunch was prepared each day, and the vehicle clean and spacious. With David’s expertise, and a bit of luck, we were able to witness some of natures highlights. We saw countless elephants, zebras, and giraffes. We saw all of the big cats, including experiencing a Cheetah and its cub up close, whilst also witnessing a successful lioness hunt which we’ll never forget. We even saw both the elusive leopard and black rhino. The tour was action packed, but not repetitive, as each location offered unique terrain, so no two days were the same. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering a Tanzania Safari.

Amazing experience - We wanted to do something special for our 25th and so planned and booked this safari. Right for the beginning, the communication was very good, especially compared to some other “big” companies we were communicating with. We did a luxury all inclusive version and I think overall we’re very happy with the safari. Got to see some amazing animals on our game drives. Our guide Geoffrey was very knowledgeable and friendly and really helped us optimise out time on the safari. Overall our accommodations were very good too. The only areas where improvements could be made would be the food- inspite of specific instructions, there was not enough vegetarian food for our family. And on the last day, there was no food box packed for our driver at all. This was quite frustrating as we only had 3 square Meals a day. Also, card payments incurred quite a surcharge which is a bit annoying given the safari itself Was so expensive. But- we saw some incredible Animals in the drive and were able to complete our mission of seeing the big 5!
