Nairobi - Upon arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our representative will be there to greet you with a sign displaying your names. They will assist you with your luggage and escort you to the waiting van for your transfer to Kenya Comfort Hotel or a similar establishment, where you will stay on a Bed and Breakfast basis.

Nairobi Hotel to Giraffe Centre and Karen Blixen and Kobe Beads

Giraffe Centre - Begin your tour with an 8:00am pick-up from your Nairobi accommodation. Your first stop will be the Giraffe Centre, the headquarters for the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, made famous by ‘Daisy Rothschild.’ Here, you can experience the thrill of being eye-to-eye with a giraffe and learn about the breeding and conservation of Kenya’s rarest giraffe species at the education center. The raised observation platform allows for an up-close encounter with these gentle giants.

KOBE TOUGH beads & leather - Next, visit the Bead Factory, a pottery company renowned for producing some of the world’s most beautiful beads. You will be guided through the entire production process. This unique factory employs single mothers from impoverished neighborhoods, providing them with a livelihood to support their families. The factory’s beautiful pottery, ceramics, and beads are exported worldwide. The gift shop, which stocks their creations, is open every day, although the workshop is closed on Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday.

Karen Blixen Museum - You will then visit the former colonial home of Danish author Karen Blixen, now a museum. This property and the surrounding Ngong Hills gained fame from the book and movie ‘Out of Africa.’ It is a must-visit for fans of African history and romance. You will return to your hotel around 5pm.

Nairobi to Hells Gate and Lake Naivasha National Park

Lake Naivasha - Depart Nairobi and travel to the eastern Rift Valley escarpment, descending to the Rift Valley floor en route to Lake Naivasha, where you will arrive in time for lunch. You may spot colobus monkeys, bushbuck, zebra, and giraffe roaming the grounds. After lunch, embark on a boat safari across the lake, where you might see hippos and various bird species, including fish eagles, pelicans, and occasionally flamingos. You will then stop at Hell’s Gate for a nature walk before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Aloepark Resort or a similar establishment.

Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve - After an early breakfast, your driver will take you to the expansive grasslands of the Masai Mara. Known for its rich biodiversity and diverse bird species, the Masai Mara offers excellent opportunities for game viewing and bird-watching. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch. Afterward, head out for a game drive in the reserve to explore the savannahs and search for the Big Five and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Tourist Camp or a similar establishment.

Full Day Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve - Spend the entire day exploring the Mara in search of the Big Five. Enjoy picnic lunches in the reserve as you take in the beauty of the Mara, particularly along the banks of the Mara River. Optional: In the evening, visit a Maasai village for a cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local people. An overnight stay at the Maasai village can be arranged upon request. The Mara is also the site of the spectacular great migration. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Tourist Camp or a similar establishment.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Nairobi - After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara for Nairobi, stopping for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley along the way. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport.
