Transfer from Airport and Tbilisi City Walking Tour

Tbilisi - We will greet you at Tbilisi or Kutaisi Airport, identifiable by our red scarves. Our meeting point is in front of the information center. We will then transport you to your accommodation in Tbilisi. This package includes an evening walking tour of Tbilisi, starting with a pick-up at 5:15 PM.

Rustaveli Avenue - Just as you would walk the Champs Elysees in Paris, Rustaveli Avenue is a must-see in Tbilisi. We will explore the most significant and grand buildings of Tbilisi, along with numerous hotels, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops.

Freedom Monument - We will visit Liberty Square, the central square of Georgia, located in the heart of Tbilisi.

Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater - In 2010, Rezo Gabriadze constructed a unique clock tower next to the marionette theatre in Tbilisi’s old town. Every hour, an angel emerges with a small hammer to ring the bell. Inside the tower is a small puppet theatre, and twice daily, at 12:00 and 19:00, you can watch a show called “The Circle of Life.” Rezo adorned the tower with hundreds of tiles he designed, making it a notable architectural landmark in Tbilisi. It is often referred to as the Tower with a clock or The Tower with the angel.

The Bridge of Peace - The Bridge of Peace is a must-see attraction in Tbilisi. This pedestrian glass and steel bridge, designed in a bow shape, spans the Mtkvari (Kura) River. Officially opened in May 2010, the bridge was transported to Georgia from Italy in 200 unassembled parts. It is 156 meters long and features over 10,000 LED bulbs that light up daily 90 minutes before sunset.

Rike Park - Rike Park is the newest recreational area in Tbilisi, located on the left bank of the Mtkvari River. It has quickly become a popular spot for both locals and international visitors, especially families, during the summer. The park is easily accessible, with its main entrance located at the pedestrian Bridge of Peace. It offers various entertainment facilities, including singing and dancing fountains, artificial climbing walls, a children’s maze, mega-chess boards, footpaths, and quiet corners.

Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali - Vakhtang I Gorgasali, from the Chosroid dynasty, was a king of Iberia (now known as Kartli) in the late 5th and early 6th centuries. His reign is difficult to date precisely. Allied with the Byzantine Empire, he led his people in a prolonged struggle against Sasanian Iranian dominance, which ultimately resulted in his defeat and the weakening of Iberia. Tradition credits him with reorganizing the Georgian Orthodox Church and founding Tbilisi, Georgia’s modern capital. Historian Ivane Javakhishvili dates his rule to approximately 449–502.

Metekhi Cathedral - The Virgin Mary Metekhi Church is situated on a cliff plateau on the left bank of the Mtkvari River. The first church on this site was likely built by Vakhtang Gorgasali, symbolically resembling the church built on the Virgin Mary’s tomb in Jerusalem’s Gethsemane Garden. According to legend, the former catholicos Kirion moved Saint Shushanik’s remains to this church in the 7th century.

Abanotubani - Abanotubani is the name of the district in Tbilisi’s Old Town, known for its street of public bathhouses that use the area’s sulfurous hot springs.

Chreli Abano Spa - Chreli Abano is a popular sulfur bathhouse among tourists and locals. It resembles a mosque but is actually a bathhouse, offering a unique and enjoyable experience.

Leghvtakhevi Waterfall - This spot is a favorite among both locals and tourists for cooling off during hot weather.

Narikala Fortress - Narikala Fortress is Tbilisi’s most famous landmark. No visit to Tbilisi is complete without exploring this impressive fortress. Despite its dilapidated walls, the fortress offers a glimpse into Tbilisi’s history. It overlooks the Mtkvari River, adding to its allure. Narikala is one of the most visited sites in Tbilisi.

Kartlis Deda - Kartlis Deda (Mother of a Georgian) is a monument in Tbilisi that has become a symbol of the city. Erected in 1958 to mark Tbilisi’s 1500th anniversary, the 20-meter aluminum statue of a woman in Georgian national dress was designed by prominent Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli. She holds a bowl of wine in her left hand to welcome friends and a sword in her right hand to defend against enemies.

Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi - Admire the narrow streets and wooden balconies of Tbilisi’s Old Town.

Shardeni Street - Shardeni Street is one of Tbilisi’s most popular and beautiful pedestrian streets. No visitor to Georgia leaves without strolling down Shardeni Street.

Tbilisi-Jinvali-Ananuri-Gudauri-Kazbegi

Rose Revolution Square - We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:15 AM and take you to the meeting point. Please be ready and meet us in the lobby.

Jinvali Water Reservoir - Located along the Georgian Military Highway, Jinvali Reservoir is a stunning spot for photography, with its blue waters framed by three mountain ranges.

Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Dating back to the 16th-18th centuries, Ananuri Fortress is located on a promontory by the Aragvi River. It was the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. The fortress, which saw numerous battles, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and Jinvali Reservoir. It remained in use until the early 19th century and was added to the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 2007.

Hotel-Restaurant Kakhaberi طريق القوقاز - Before lunch, you can go rafting, which is a fantastic experience. Enjoy a meal in beautiful natural surroundings, featuring delicious homemade traditional dishes, especially Khinkali, as you are in the homeland of these dumplings.

Panorama Gudauri - Weather permitting, you can try paragliding in Gudauri. Note that paragliding is not included in our services and costs approximately 100 USD.

Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - Optional visit to the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument, built in 1983 to commemorate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway between Gudauri and the Jvari Pass, the monument is a large circular stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil’s Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Gudauri ski resort, situated at an elevation of 2,200 meters, offers excellent conditions for skiing and other activities like horse-riding, mountain biking, hiking, and paragliding.

Stepantsminda - Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is renowned for its scenic location in the Greater Caucasus Mountains and is a hub for trekking and mountain climbing. Local attractions include Mount Kazbegi and the alpine meadows and forests of the Kazbegi Nature Reserve and Gergeti Trinity Church. In Kazbegi village, we will rent a special car (5-7$ per person) to take us to the top of the mountain to visit Gergeti Trinity Church.

Gergeti Trinity Church - Gergeti Trinity Church, near the village of Gergeti, is situated on the right bank of the Chkheri River, beneath Mount Kazbegi at an elevation of 2170 meters. Built in the 14th century, it is the only cross-cupola church in the Khevi province. During times of danger, precious relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino’s Cross, were brought here for safekeeping. Although religious services were banned during the Soviet era, the church remained a popular tourist destination. It is now an active establishment of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church. The church offers an epic panoramic view of the entire valley and is one of Georgia’s most iconic tourist attractions due to its isolated location in the steep, mountainous area. The view of Mount Kazbegi, standing at 5047 meters, is particularly impressive.

Rooms Hotel Kazbegi - After our experience, we will stay in Kazbegi or Gudauri.

Transfer from Kazbegi to Tbilisi

Rooms Hotel Kazbegi - We will pick you up at 7 PM from Rooms Hotel Kazbegi and take you back to Tbilisi.

Tbilisi - We will return to Tbilisi around 11 PM.

Tbilisi-Kakheti-Wine Region-Tbilisi

Rose Revolution Square - On the fourth day, we will pick you up at 10:15 AM and head to the Kakheti wine region.

Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking - Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking Factory is one of the largest wine and spirits producers in Georgia and the Caucasus region. Established in 2001, KTW produces brandy, sparkling wine, and chacha using traditional Georgian techniques combined with modern technology. This allows the company to preserve the unique taste of old wines while creating its own signature style. We will visit the wine factory and sample five types of Georgian wine and a 10-year-old brandy. Tips: • Bring a water bottle to drink between tastings. • The factory can be cold, so bring a jacket. • Chkhaveri – White Dry Wine. KTW’s signature wine “Chkhaveri” dates back to 1880 in the village of Askana, where winemaker Antimoz Chkhaidze founded one of the most prominent wine cellars of that era. He used unique grapes from the region to create a new type of wine, which he named “Chkhaveri.”

Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino - The Monastery of St. Nino is located in the village of Bodbe in the Sighnaghi region of Kakheti. The monastery grounds are adorned with flower beds, bushes, vineyards, and a healing spring. The monastery’s history is closely tied to the adoption of Christianity in Georgia. According to legend, after the adoption of Christianity, King Miriani had a dream in which four stars flew across the four mountains of Georgia, with one star landing near Bodbe. Nino went there to place a cross on that spot. She lived modestly in a tent where she eventually died and was buried. In the early 4th century, a monastery was built on the site of her tent. Nino’s grave is located inside the monastery, under the altar, which is strictly forbidden to photograph.

Signagi - Sighnagi is a charming town in the Kakheti region. About ten years ago, it was a neglected and dull place, but after extensive restoration, it has become a delightful tourist center with cobbled streets and cozy houses with bright red tile roofs. The town’s architecture is inspired by southern Italian classicism. Several hotels and guest houses have been built to suit various tastes and preferences. Signagi is also known as “the town of love” because it has a unique wedding house where couples can get married at any time without prior notice. After exploring Signagi, we will meet at the Kusika restaurant and return to Tbilisi, arriving around 6 PM.

Rose Revolution Square - We will return from Kakheti to Tbilisi around 5-6 PM. You can enjoy the nightlife or try a traditional Georgian dinner.

Excellent experience with budget tours - Let me start by expressing my gratitude to Miss Salome, our private tour guide for Kutaisi, I never experienced such hospitality in any of my guided tour. We had amazing experience in kutaisi as our tour guide gave us every information we need. She took plenty of photographs for us which I would like to appreciate. Cave and canyon tour in Kutaisi was d best part of the whole trip as I never experienced such adventure. We had the most incredible day on this tour. This was my first private tour, and I loved it. Gadauri stay was perfect with a perfect view. We stayed in Quadrum yoga and Ski resort. Only problem in this hotel was food service which we dnt like. Otherwise our guide and his service was perfect for the tour. On the way to Gadauri we stopped in a nice restaurant where the local food was delicious. As we are Vegetarian our guide suggested us to order Lobia dish with corn bread. And I must say this was the best Georgian dish for vegetarians. Throughout the trip, we encountered breathtaking mountain views and made several stops to appreciate them. I would highly recommend budget tours to book if anyone is planning for Georgia trip, because with a planned tour we can see most beautiful parts of Georgia and this tour will definately make your trip a memorable one.

10/10 would recommend 💯 - This was our first time traveling, and me and my friend are very very happy that we took this tour 💕 From the airport pickup to the dropoff, everything was 10/10. The planning was perfect because we were able to push the Kazbegi trip to the day when there was snowfall. It was also a birthday trip for me and everyone made sure it was the best birthday of my life. Soso, Meri, and Alex are the nicest and best people to be with in a new place. Everyone is so sweet and accommodating 💕💕🥰

Budget Friendly Tour to Georgia with Maximum Spots Covered along with Experienced, Friendly Guides throughout the Trip. - I just have finished my week long trip to Georgia and I blindly trusted Budget Friendly Tour to be my tour guide for my holiday. 🙂 Before travelling to any place, I read a lot about the local culture, people, tourist spots and local guides of that place, to ease my journey and trust me, this company justifies their reviews, available in Google. 🤟 I booked the 5 days tour package as a first time visitor from their website and Abanoub immediately responded back in my WhatsApp number. That was the starting. Since then, till today, I never saw him not replying to my uncountable queries or requests, sometimes at midnights also 🙈. He was very careful about our satisfaction as a tourist and did beyond his capacity to provide the maximum customer service. 🥰 And their guides are friendly, informative, active, and exactly knows how to engage their customers in a long day road trip. For Lasha, we never felt bored in Kazbegi & Kakheiti Trip. Same goes for Metro. He was impressive. All our trips were arranged in high end comfortable AC Coach and the every guide we met through these five days gave us ample of information about Georgian Culture, Food, History, Tourism, Politics, Wine and What Not!!😎 I highly recommend this tour company for your Georgia Trip. They are very professional, helpful, walk extra mile for their customer's satisfaction and ofcourse, last but not the least, Budget Friendly 🫣
