While in Arusha, you can either kick back and relax by the swimming pool or explore the bustling city full of friendly local people and vibrant sights and sounds.

Travel through the Ngorongoro Conservancy and arrive in the centre of the Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - After leaving Arusha in the morning, you will arrive at Heritage Camps and Lodges Luxury Tented Camp in the afternoon, located right in the beating heart of the Serengeti, the perfect place to start your safari in earnest in search of experiences that you will cherish fondly for a lifetime.

The Serengeti National Park, meaning endless plains in the Maasai language, is undoubtedly one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas, Tanzania’s oldest national park, and a continued source of inspiration for every creative soul that comes to visit, including wildlife photographers and filmmakers alike.

The Serengeti is truly a magical place that is an absolute must for any safari itinerary and due to the logistics of reaching the park, a minimum of two nights is highly recommended.

Kindly note that Hot Air Balloon & trails walking activities can be arranged at extra cost, please just let us know in advance and we will do our utmost to accommodate your whims and wishes.

Action Packed Safari in the Serengeti: Lions, Leopards, Hippo Pool, Cheetah, Ungulates and Elephants

Serengeti National Park - A whole day exploring all the wildlife action that the Serengeti has to offer, this is guaranteed to be the experience of a lifetime.

Guided by our safari experts, they will listen to all of your special interests and design a tailor made itinerary to suit your needs on the spot by using their knowledge of the land to go where the animals you love most are located.

Well trained and highly knowledgeable, our safari guides will be able to answer any questions you may have about the animal behaviour you are witnessing, acting as a bridge between you and the natural world.

Afterwards, you will return happy and exhausted to your accommodation for a refreshing sundowner.
The Serengeti is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Africa, and for good reason. With its vast open plains, stunning wildlife, and rich cultural heritage, it’s a place where you can truly experience the rugged beauty and wild majesty of nature.

Ngorongoro Crater, a Fishbowl Full of Wildlife, Including Black Rhino, Lions, Buffalo, and Hippo

Ngorongoro Crater - The Ngorongoro Crater is a veritable fishbowl filled to the brim with a diverse array of wildlife, the hollowed out remains of a shield volcano which one stood higher than Mount Kilimanjaro, the Roof of Africa, which erupted two million years ago to create the twenty one kilometre wide national park we know and love today.

The main attraction of the Ngorongoro Crater is the incredibly rare black rhino population of over fifty individuals, which are supported by the year round water supply and lush vegetation due to the volcanic soil, along with one of the densest population of predators in the world, including lion, hyena, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard.

Lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic site beside a hippo pool so you can eat a sandwich right next to some sleeping hippos, which is every bit as incredible as it sounds!

The Ngorongoro Crater is a must for anyone who wants the chance to see all of the big five: leopard, rhino, buffalo, lion & elephant.

Tarangire National Park; Elephants, Lions, Leopard, Cheetah Galore and More, Before a Transfer to Arusha or the Airport

Tarangire National Park - This national park is often people’s favourite park on the northern safari circuit outside of the Serengeti since there is so much wildlife waiting around every corner.

Thanks to a heterogenous array of topography which provides lots of different plant and tree species ample room to grow, a diverse array of herbivores has been attracted to the area, which is why Tarangire National Park is the “Home of the Elephants” in Tanzania, along with lots of other species including buffalo, eland, gemsbok, zebra, wildebeest et al. Naturally, this attracts the attention of the predators that are always following closely behind their prey, the lions, leopards, cheetah, caracal, serval, jackal et al.

After visiting Tarangire National Park, you will depart in the afternoon to be transferred back to the airport, either to catch a flight to Zanzibar or catch an international flight elsewhere, or we will drop you off at your hotel in Arusha or Moshi.
