DAY 1: AIRPORT PICK UP- CITY TOUR

- A Chullos Travel Peru representative will be at the airport to greet you and arrange your hotel transfer.
- Enjoy a free morning to relax and get used to the altitude.
- At 2:00 PM, we will collect you from your hotel for the city tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a transfer to our next location.
- After a 30-minute drive, we arrive at Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua saqsay, meaning ‘place to be satiated’, and waman, meaning ‘falcon’, thus ‘Place where the hawk is satiated’), where a 1-hour guided tour awaits.
- Next, we visit Qenqo, a mystical ritual center within a rock formation.
- A 15-minute drive takes us to PucaPucara (red fort), a military construction.
- The final stop is Tambomachay, also known as the Inca’s Bath, where water rituals were performed. Following our journey, we will return to Cusco around 7:00 pm.

The tour of Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu takes you through all the most important places of Cusco such as: Qoricancha also known as the Temple of the Sun that during the incanato the temple was dedicated to the worship of the Sun God (“Inti”) We will also visit Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic places of the Inca Empire built by the Inca Pachacuteq in the 15th century. It is a vast fortress built from huge stones, how they were transported and worked remains a mystery. We will also do the Sacred Valley tour that is one of the most popular routes in the Cusco region, and that functioned as an agricultural, spiritual and political center. Finally we will take you to one of the most incredible train trips in the world and we will go to Machu Picchu ‘One of the seven wonders of the modern world’.
