Excellent guide! - Davide is truly an exceptional guide! He was knowledgeable and friendly and gave us an amazing tour of Burano and a glass blowing factory in Murano. We traveled on my husbands’ birthday and selected the private group. He made sure every detail was perfect. We specially enjoyed the lace shop and getting to experience the Burano streets and balsamic vinegar tasting. Would definitely recommend!

Semi private exceptional tour of Murano and Burano - Our guide Davide was a much gracious and an exceptionally patient guide. We had a lovely glass blowing demonstration and tour of exclusive glass shop. So exquisite. Burano was a simply lovely old fishing village with numerous colorful storefronts and lace shops. Also had a tasty balsamic and cookie tasting. Highly recommend.

Superb Communication- Great fun - Great fun, Deck lots of speed & and charming cheeky chap! Davide was lots of fun , very communicative, flexible and charming. We had a terrific day on his boat. The kids loved it when he took us up to great speeds and we enjoyed very much his insight and touring of Venice. . Refreshingly, there is no heavy-handed pressure to buy at any of the shops he shows or we went to - if you like something you buy, if you don’t, you don’t! Restaurant he picked was fab and good communication in advance as to what we liked so he could pick a place for us to visit It was all excellent . He sent some terrific photos that we weren’t expecting and they were beautiful! Highly recommend!

The BEST of Venice - We booked our tour with David & it was just my husband & I. David was right on time picking us up at our hotel. He was well-versed in English, so we knew we'd have no communication issues. As we went through the lagoon he gave us information about all the points of interest it was a beautiful, & peaceful boat ride to Murano our 1st stop Mocenigo Glass making. Once inside, we were introduced to the master glassblower, owner of the company where we saw firsthand how glass items are made it was absolutely a spectacular work of art. Then we on to see the show rooms, which were amazing. Shortly afterwards we returned to the boat & headed to Burano it was a gorgeous ride where we saw many colorful homes a crooked clocktower & retreat community a beautiful stone bridge that reflected into the water. The entire area was narrated by David on our journey to Burano. Upon our arrival, we went to Eugenio the mask making store. he Artistry is a must see The store owner gave us the story behind the different masks & we thoroughly enjoyed browsing the Store. After a short stroll through the streets of Burano, David selected a fine restaurant where we enjoyed a fabulous lunch & once we finished lunch back on the boat for our return to Venice. It was a well planned out day by David & he did a amazing tour making us feel so comfortable. We did the typical tourist sightseeing in San Marco Square & enjoyed that too but, at the end of our weekend in Venice, we decided that this by far was the most enjoyable & memorable of our time well spent.

More Historical facts would be great! - The tour was good. I didn’t quite expect the level of selling and the obvious relationship our guide had with the shops he took us to. The shops were very high quality and I appreciated the level of craftsmanship - I just wasn’t prepared to buy and we spent t a lot of time waiting for sales to be completed. I did appreciate the historical information and we would have loved to hear more! On Murano we entered a glass blowing factory through the back, toured the showroom and exited through the back. We didn’t really see much of the island. At Burano we took a nice walk after mooring the boat. We visited our guide’s favorite lace shop which was lovely. Water walking and visiting an island cookie store and balsamic vinegar shop we headed back to Venice. The guide was very friendly. The boat was clean and 7 of us fit comfortably. Our trip was combined with another couple and a party of three. Our guide sent a taxi to pick us up in the morning. Upon our return, he called a taxi for us the cost of which we split with the party of three.

Be Careful with this operator - Be Careful he advertises that pick up from your hotel is included in the price. The operator cancelled my trip because he was not willing to pick me up from my hotel. Not ok
