Saturday-Windhoek-Etosha (L &D)

Etosha Pan - Day 1-Windhoek-Etosha (L &D)

Pick up from your accommodation at 9am. Herded to the north we will have our lovely lunch break in Otjiwarongo or Outjo. After arriving in the park in the afternoon, we will drive through the National Park in search of wildlife, if we are lucky, we might have an opportunity to see the elephants, rhino, zebras, various game (orynx, kudu, wildebeest, impala, springbok, gemsbok) giraffes, hyenas and big cats of Africa: lion, leopard and cheetah inhabiting the enormous grasslands. We will be at our respective accommodation just before sunset. Dinner will sum-up the adventure and rest will be required so that we can be able to wake up early and fresh for the next adventure.

Sunday-Etosha (B, L&D)

Etosha Pan - Saturday-Etosha NP (B, L&D)

An early rise will be encouraged to have the feel of nature and the fresh breeze. Soon after breakfast we will then start our game drive to allow us to have a magnificent exploration, we will visit waterholes. We will get to visit the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in expedition of coming across the Big 4 and other animal species. A light lunch will allow us to rest, gathering energy for our next adventure. After a short relaxation we will then visit our last waterhole that will be the last appreciation of Namibia’s beauty. Before sunset we will be back to our accommodation place so that we can have dinner as we share stories of our experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos.

Monday- Etosha-Swakopmund (B & L)

Swakopmund Museum - Sunday- Etosha-Swakopmund (B & L)

You will be collected from your lodge between 07:00 and 08:00. We have a long drive today 540km ahead of you. We will drive via Outjo and turn off right before Otjiwarango towards Omaruru. We will have a picnic lunch in Omaruru, the town has 14,000 inhabitants and owns 352 square kilometres of land. We will continue via Karibib and Usakos and then across the Namibia Desert to Swakopmund. We will arrive in Swakopmund mid-afternoon where you will have time to explore this quaint seaside town on foot, your guide will be happy to recommend a good restaurant for your evening meal (own expense).

Tuesday- Swakopmund-Windhoek (B, L)

Windhoek City Cab - Monday- Swakopmund-Windhoek (B, L)

Be prepared for the long, scenic transit back to Windhoek. We pass through towns and rural areas, stopping in the small town of Okahandja, the home of Namibia’s largest wood carving market. The stalls operate on a local co-operative basis and offer a vast array of truly Namibian souvenirs. We are due back in Windhoek not later than 16:00 hours. You will be dropped off at your accommodation.
