Guangzhou - Xi’an (L)

Guangzhou Railway Station - Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Guangzhou and transfer you to the airport for a 2.5-hour flight to Xi’an.

Upon arrival, your tour guide will meet you at the exit of the arrival hall, holding a sign with your name on it.

You also have the option to end your tour in Xi’an. In this case, your itinerary would be: Day 1: Guangzhou - Beijing (overnight in Beijing), Day 2: Beijing - Xi’an (overnight in Xi’an), Day 3: Xi’an.

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Board your private air-conditioned vehicle and head directly to the Terracotta Warriors Museum. Your tour guide will share relevant histories and stories along the way, and you are welcome to ask any questions.

Begin your visit at the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors Museum, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The museum is divided into three sections: Pit No.1, Pit No.2, and Pit No.3. The original site was discovered by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974 and has since become Xi’an’s most significant attraction. Explore the museum and gain rich insights from your tour guide.

Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, perhaps visit the 600-year-old Xi’an City Wall. Climb to the top of this ancient structure and enjoy views of the city below.

Muslim Quarter - Next, head to the Muslim Quarter, the center of the Muslim community in Xi’an. Follow your tour guide through the Muslim food and souvenir market. You can try delicious local snacks at your own expense.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Xi’an.

Xi’an – Beijing (B, L)

Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - Check out of your hotel, and your driver will pick you up from the lobby, holding a sign with your name on it. You will be transferred to the airport for a 2-hour flight to Beijing.

Upon arrival, your tour guide will be waiting for you at the exit of the arrival hall, holding a sign with your name on it.

Mutianyu Great Wall - Board your private air-conditioned vehicle and head directly to the Mutianyu Great Wall, a 1.5-hour trip. Your tour guide will share relevant histories and stories along the way, and you are welcome to ask any questions.

Upon arrival, follow your tour guide to take the cable car or ski lift up to the Great Wall. Marvel at the surrounding area and hike up and down the different towers. You can decide how long you want to stay at the Great Wall.

Niaochao National Stadium - Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local village restaurant, where you will dine with the villagers and savor cuisine from Northeast China.

On the way back to the city, you will drive past the Olympic Park to catch a glimpse of the stunning modern stadiums built for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.

Bell and Drum Towers - Next, visit the Drum and Bell Towers. Climb up to the Drum Tower to enjoy a drum performance and take in the amazing views of the surrounding Hutong alleys. Then, take a rickshaw ride through the hutongs to learn about the daily life and living conditions of the locals.

Nanluoguxiang - Take a leisurely stroll around the Shichahai area to Yandai Xie Street, Gulou East Street, and Nanluoguxiang Alley with your tour guide.

Yandai Xie Street - After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Beijing.

Beijing City Highlights (B, L) - Chongqing

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Meet your guide at your hotel in Beijing and start by exploring one of the world’s largest public areas, Tiananmen Square.

Forbidden City - The Palace Museum - Enter through the south gate to the magnificent Forbidden City, a 250-acre (101-ha) complex of courtyards, palaces, pavilions, and gardens that served as the imperial palace for emperors and their households for over 500 years.

Hall of Great Harmony (Taihe Dian) - Stroll through the courtyards and halls of the Forbidden City with your tour guide, learning about the histories and stories of this massive palace. You will visit buildings such as the Hall of Great Harmony, where the emperor handled state affairs, the Hall of Central Harmony, and the Hall of Complete Harmony.

Palace of Heavenly Purity - Continue to explore the living quarters in the palace, including the Hall of Union, the Hall of Heavenly Purity, and the Hall of Earthly Tranquility.

The Imperial Garden of The Palace Museum - Your tour of the Forbidden City will conclude at the Imperial Garden, and you will exit the Forbidden City from the north gate.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue to the Summer Palace, a well-preserved royal garden renowned for its beautiful landscape and spectacular architecture. It is considered one of the most classical gardens in the world.

Qingyan Stone Boat - Then, visit the Marble Boat, a foreign-style superstructure meant to symbolize the stability of the Qing Dynasty.

After the tour, you can choose to end your tour in Beijing or return to Guangzhou.
