Experience the power and beauty of nature in Iceland - This tour spends 3 full days in Iceland's Golden Circle along the South Coast. Full service starting with pick up from hotel in Reykjavik, lodging and breakfast provided enroute. The tour brings you up close and personal with the natural attractions Iceland has to offer. From the tectonic divide in Thingvellir, to the glacial lagoon of Jokulsarlon, from the waterfalls of Gullfoss and Svartifoss, to the Katla ice caves. The tour covers a lot of ground but at a reasonable pace. Food and bathroom breaks are provided throughout. Hikes are offered but are mild and manageable. Our guide Olafur was knowledgeable and entertaining, varying the route as appropriate for weather and adding pop up bonus stops when we had extra time. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get out and see what Iceland has to offer. Travel is in a small group (less than 20 max) and individual hotel accommodations are provided. Good balance of travel and activities, delivers on every promise for locations to visit.

Excellent Tour - I highly recommend this company. Our tour guide was very informative, and he moved our stops around based upon the weather. The hotel that we stayed in during the trip had an on-site restaurant that was very good. We plan on returning to Iceland and we will definitely book another trip with this company.

Wonderful beyond words - Great tour. Got to see all of the major sites. Pros: many many sites seen, hotel adequate, knowledgeable guide Cons: bus extremely small and cramped with no room for storage of our backpack (had to carry on lap), very limited time at sites (perhaps arriving later to the hotel to give more time at each stop?), Super Jeep very cramped and HOT-4 people in the back seat??? could the driver had opened a window? we were very hot. The "cave" was nothing more than a tunnel. We expected more information about iceland along the journey. He answered questions when asked but we hoped for essentially continuous talking about Iceland. Overall a great experience

Arctic Adventures 3-Day South Coast Tour: Amazing! - Amazing tour. I’d say it’s honestly a must do if you’re coming to iceland for the first time. Everything from pickup to accommodation is handled for you. This tour shows some of the best highlights of the south coast of Iceland and provides awesome opportunities for photos. The guide can definitely make a big difference and we really lucked out with ours. Kacper was a phenomenal guide and he was really what made the experience so great! If you book the tour and are able to request anything, I would try to put in a request for him to be your guide! He was super knowledgeable , caring and made sure everyone was always accounted for and happy. I highly recommend this tour!

Value and Expsrience, but not a Real Snow Cave - It's a Man-made Snow Tunnel - Great tour service! Kaspar was the BEST guide - knowledgeable, energetic, full of information, and made sure we saw a lot more places than listed in the itinerary. The snow cave was a joke - more like a 40 - 50 ft. tunnel chiseled and picked out of the edge of the glacier - not a real snow cave. The photos on the advertisements are of beautiful, massive underground caverns; but the reality is total BS - it was over in five minutes; though the ride to it was pretty cool. You'd better like waterfalls; because there are way more than one needs to see. You also need to be in some kind of walking/hiking shape before you go; though you will still be able to see everything. Would love to have more historic sites, more snow/ice stuff, and not so many waterfalls. Great trip, great price, and overall a wonderful experience.

Definitely try there tours - This was an amazing experience. The day was packed but it gives you enough time to rest. You had independence to view each location. Kasper was a ray of sunshine and did an exceptional job as a tour guide.

Guide Karl is great and Iceland is beautiful - Just finished my “five day” tour which was really just the three day southern highlights with northern lights activities added as additional either side. Overall it was really good, our guide Karl was fantastic and we had a lovely group. Accommodation was great, there were plenty of stops throughout the tour - both sites and food/toilet breaks - and the transport itself was fairly comfortable. The communication however could be improved. One day before my tour began I still hadn’t been told where my first nights accommodation was (meant to receive it 7-14 days in advance), each day there was no run sheet or info provided so we really didn’t know what we were doing and it was hard to dress appropriately, and as mentioned my five day tour was really just the three day tour, but with an activity the night before it began (just me, and having to make my own way 3km from the hotel they put me in) and my last day being a “free day” to myself lol.

3-Day Golden Circle Tour.. more like RIP OFF TOUR! - This was our first time traveling to Iceland and my family (ages 28, 29, 67 and 68) thought it was best to book a guided tour. We saw the positive reviews for Arctic Adventures and thought to give it a go. Day 1 of the tour, our guide Adolf picked us up right at 9am. After we finished picking everyone else up we immediately started visiting popular stops in Iceland. This was our favorite day (had the best waterfalls!) At the end of Day 1, we arrived at the lodging accommodations. Our guide handed out our room keys, some people got to stay in cabins and others stayed in a "lodge" style room. The bathrooms were very small and it felt like we were staying at rustic campsite. Day 2 was the worst day! We stopped for an hour and a half for lunch at a food truck/glacier lagoon. What a joke! The food trucks included hot dogs, hamburgers, and fish & chips. One of the people on our tour got a raw hamburger. We drove by several other restaurants and this is where our guide chose to stop. Everyone on the bus was unhappy about the stop. We got back to our lodge early which also was a bummer. Not to mention our guide didn't even to take us to see the Northern Lights, we had to go out on our own to see them. Day 3 was the last day of the tour. Our tour guide did a poor job of informing everyone on the the tour of what was entailed in the Ice Cave excursion. It was NOT an ice cave, it was an ice tunnel (you don't get to see this until you climb up an actual glacier) Adolf should have informed us on the tour that if anyone had heart condition, mobility issues or were pregnant that they should NOT participate in this excursion. But he did not! After we completed the three hour tour, our guide asked us how the tour went and we told him "it was terrible" and we receive no empathy from him or concerns. I would just like to point out, the Ice Cave is a potential lawsuit waiting to happen. No one on the tour was asked to sign a waiver of any kind or was informed if there was an emergency what we had to do. Our guide simply told us "if you see me running, you better run too". My family and I feel that this tour was overpriced and we did not get a choice on where we got to eat the entire tour. It was either the hotel restaurant or food trucks. My recommendation would be for tour guides to provide more history and knowledge of Iceland itself than what we received. We had to ask the tour guide for any information include the timeline of the tour. At the end of each night everyone wanted to know the game plan for each day and we had no idea what we were doing until we got on the bus.
