Arrival Day

Moshi Town - Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our driver will be waiting for you in the arrival hall, holding a sign with your lead traveler’s name or your own name if you are traveling solo. After completing all arrival formalities, you will be driven to Keys Hotel in Moshi town for an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Your day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a departure around 8:00 AM to allow ample time for game viewing in Tarangire. Known as the third-best wildlife park in Northern Tanzania, Tarangire is famous for its elephant herds. You will also have the opportunity to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, antelopes, and many other animals.

Tarangire National Park is a top choice for bird watchers visiting Tanzania, boasting over 250 bird species.

Central Serengeti National

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast at the lodge, you will cross Ngorongoro to reach Serengeti National Park. Before leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will visit a Maasai family to learn about their daily life. You will then proceed to Serengeti for a game drive.

The game drive in Serengeti starts around 7:00 AM, focusing on the Seronera area where you might spot rare small cats and other active morning animals. The day includes both day and evening game drives, following the great wildebeest migration, and a family dining setup in the bush.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Located in northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to the vast Ngorongoro Crater and the “big 5” game animals (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras cross its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals. Hominin fossils found in the Olduvai Gorge date back millions of years.

Northern Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - An early morning game drive in the northern Serengeti offers a chance to see wildebeest crossing the Mara River and other active morning animals. After breakfast, you will continue with a full-day game drive, focusing on wildebeest crossings and big cats. After a day of game viewing and sunset photography, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Northern Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - If you wish, you can start the day with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti. This should be arranged with your safari guide the night before. After the early morning game drive, you will have breakfast at the lodge or camp, then leave with a packed lunch to spend the entire day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park.

Northern Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, you will leave the tented camp with a packed lunch to spend the day in the vast savannah plains of Serengeti National Park. This area is part of the Serengeti-Masai Mara ecosystem, which extends into Kenya and hosts the annual wildebeest migration. The Serengeti is also home to a diverse array of wildlife and bird species. In the evening, you will return to Heritage Mara-Kogatende.

Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Departing early from the camp, you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en route. You will arrive in the evening and stay overnight at Rhino Lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - An early morning adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater offers high chances of seeing the “big five.” The crater also features a stunning soda lake with flamingos. Lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic site is an unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, you will leave the crater for a cultural tour of the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes at Lake Eyasi. Overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Visit Hadzabe People, Datoga

Lake Eyasi - Start the day with sunrise photography in the Hadza village, capturing their daily life and hunting activities. You will then drive to the Hadzabe village for a hunting experience and visit the Datoga people to learn about their lifestyle. The Hadzabe are hunters and gatherers, while the Datoga are skilled farmers growing onions, maize, and other crops.

Transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport

Lake Eyasi - After breakfast at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge, you will leave for Arusha and be dropped off at Mount Meru Hotel, or drive directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.

The Mkomazi National Park is framed by the green slopes of the spectacular Usambara and Pare mountain ranges. A huge drive-in sanctuary offers a chance to get close to the endangered black rhino, which is absent or very rarely seen in most other Tanzanian parks.
